I come across I-70 from NV in the winter since my daughter lives in Aurora. I love the AT3W but have not used them in heavy mud. Mud is the only usage where I might prefer the Falken mudders over the AT3W which are mountain/snowflake rated. I am running 255-80-17E (33.1").

Unlifted sport s max tow oe wheels
winglets removed
Slight poke up front, rear nearly completely under fender
no rubbing anywhere full clock, but it does come to about an inch from touching front plastic shield under front bumper
I would not recommend offloading like this unless lifted 2"+

35s on an overland.
Waiting on the Evo lift - I’m running behind because King shocks were backordered (like always).
Lift should be here in a few days so I figured I would throw these on and see how bad the rubbing was.
No issues on road, I could see off roaring being an issue without a lift.

if anybody stumbles across photos of a stock height sport S with bigger tires without rubbing, 33 or 35", please report back and post here.
Sport S sport overland. No matter all have same front end five or take. Rubicon has the taller fender. Here is stick height overland, mine with 33x12:5x18

Did you use any type of wheel spacers?

I too have a sport(no max tow) how did these work out? Did they rub at all without the spacers, and what tire/rim do you have here.

None. Just need to trim the winglet plastic below the bumper line in front of tires. When reversing, especially at an incline, it will rub, but nothing dangerous. If u have a rubicon, nothing to worry about.

I have been on the fence with 33's or 35's and this sealed the deal with going to 35's. I'll be installing the 1.5" leveling kit this week. Wheels and Tires are next. Thank you for sharing!

Went with Rubicon take offs. 28575/R17. Love the look but the ride is bit rougher - as expected. Anyone else see a notable difference when going from the stock 245 to 285? Seems like a small change and would't cause a change in handling. It could be in my head (or the fact that I'm due to get the steering box changed under the TSB next week) but it seems like it doesn't hold the road nearly as well - especially making turns at speed and hitting minor bumps. Need someone too talk me out of hastily buying a take off Rubicon suspension! Would that even help much anyway? I know it's a Jeep, not expecting the ride of a Caddy, just curious if anyone has shared the same experience. Thanks

Your issues are common with big, wide tires. My 255-80-17 Falkens are stock width and behave well.

I’ll be joining this group soon. Picked up some used but good condition 315/70/17 KO2 tonight to put on my stock Sport S max tow. I plan to go rubi suspension mods at some point soon.
