Good afternoon everyone.

I am in the process of installing my Mopar AUX switches and I noticed the two grounds looked odd. The 10mm is in the correct spot but there is no cable connected to the 13mm spot. Looking further towards the front I noticed what seems like the second ground connected to a 10mm stud. The paint on the nut and stud are marred so obviously that connection was not factory.

I am curious if that is not correct compared to others which I assume it is not. When I bought mine the dealer had some BS "alarm" installed which they removed because I said I did not want it so I am wondering if they screwed with that in the process and lost the 13mm nut and just connected it to the other stud.

Here is more BS that I've found. Passenger kick panel, look at the amount of vampire clips......this is ridiculous. Granted I am not having any issues with my rig but this really pisses me off.

Probably where they tapped the door sensors and power locks for the alarm system.

Yep, BS remnants of a BS alarm. I'm not a fan of their craftsmanship.

I have the aux.. switches from factory and the center stud (unpainted) has no nut on it. This is where I will probably ground my aux. Lights instead of the battery

Thanks for that info. I realized after I complained about that portion of my post the other ground connector does not fit the larger stud so they must be where to correctly go. I used the second unused 10mm stud/nut for my AUX switch ground as per the instructions.

Still annoys the hell out of me the amount of vampire clips from the dealer. Although, they do look to be the correct size for the gauge of the wires so I'm hoping there won't be any long term issues.
