Go out and put that thing in the Mud on the rocks on the some trails. So, in lieu of making a horrible financial decision and trading in a paid-off 2020 JTR with 48K miles, I'm searching for ideas to break the boredom of the truck (and appease my dopamine deficit). I did the basic/usual upgrades in the first year of ownership (e.g., Falcon 3.3, Method wheels, 37"s, Clayton lift, RPM 2.5 ton steering...blah blah).
What would you do next? How would you reignite the spark that I once had for my JTR? Every relationship needs to be spiced up a little bit (and don't say Hemi swap...I've been down that road).
I wouldn't necessarily say I "wheel" this truck as much as I used to; however, I played with the idea of focusing more on a Ranger Raptor "competitor." This is now my daily driver after I had to sell my beloved Kei truck (thanks, Ohio).

Pains me to say it but our B58 and actually pretty much everything BMW sourced on our Grenadier has been flawless. Many other non beemer things on the other hand, have not been so flawless. That engine is pretty marvelous IMO.Do something different than a Hemi swap.
A BMW B58 would be very different and keep you both interested and infinitely frustrated at the same time.
Whatever you got, I got it too..Some of us just get bored easy. I’ve had two new Glads in the past twelve months, three new Harleys in the past five years, and one old one I chased for a year, and sold in three weeks.
So, I got nothin’…
Highly contagious.Whatever you got, I got it too..
Good information. I’m seriously tempted. Going to do a test drive tomorrow. They’ve opened a store near me finally.Pains me to say it but our B58 and actually pretty much everything BMW sourced on our Grenadier has been flawless. Tell me about it, I just happened to fall into a regular cab short bed thing watching youtube. Having a moment of losing sleep over building a toy truck with a 5.0...It's some sort of affliction. Unfortunately, I'm not wealthy enough to chase that dragon.
No worries! I also didn't need to read that relatively positive feedback about the Grenadier. When you see one in person...I’m a little slow this evening. Not sure
