Alright everyone... No pictures or videos yet, but I have everything figured out. Coding works, power works, just have to put it all together now...

So the power solution.....
I have Arduino boards with no boot up time now.
Anytime any light comes on ( tail light, turn light, brake, reverse) it sends power to turn on the Arduino, and the Arduino lights up the proper channel.

This helps me with coding.... Instead of trying to put time restraints so the system knows if it is brake or blinker, I made it where it just sequences for the turn signal and if it is constant power it stays lit. If it doesn't have constant power it turns off and repeats for a blinker....

This should be fine because this is a side light.... The main light on the back comes on instantly red for brakes.... So you're not waiting for the sequence.

Any questions or concerns? I'll try to show a demo this weekend

Oh, and I ditched the V channel and went back to a normal channel... Was able to stack two led strips over one another to make it a little narrower.

From 24mm to 21mm I'll show what I am talking about this weekend

Justin..........beta version will be ready when????

I'm still down for the OG version, but if you're trying to streamline production that's cool too

Just a random question, will the initial hit of the brakes get the lights to run sequentially and then stay lit?

I'm trying my best to get this all done as fast as I can.

New question is, does anyone still want the original design?

Or go with this design and the others that are like this design with the perimeter.

If everything works properly this weekend, then that leaves me with figuring out a way to streamline the electronics portion, and packaging shipping.

So I don't have much further.... But it's hard to put a timeline and I don't want to give anymore false hope.

For the perimeter light the initial hit of the brakes will light sequentially and stay lit...

The actual rear light will function like normal with no sequential functions at all.

ah sweet, I guess that's a nice side effect of running the sequential off the same power source as the brake!

Any way of creating a poll on here to get which version people like?

I'll try to figure out a poll tonight if I can
Looking back through the whole thread these seem to be the 3 options to avoid looking similar to the Oracle lights.

Option 1 - Original off the shelf tail with 3/4" side lights
Option 2 - Off the shelf tail with light strip on the side
Option 3 - An all LED light strip design (configuration to be finalized) ((My preference is shown))

We had quite a bit of different designs for Option 3 but most had a full ring around the edge (similar to Oracle). If I missed any add them, trying to help condense to not need to flip through 60 pages.
