I’m in for this as long as
A) this system can be used as a substitute for securing gear instead of the Mopar stuff
B) having Line-X doesn’t interfere
C) tonneau cover still works

All of the above will work :)

I have my Leitner rack to be installed this weekend (probably Sunday) so I will post pictures after the fact to let you all know what can potentially fit and what can not

I've looked into it as that's my plan as well. Please let us know what you figure out. I figured it would just requires some drilling into the leitner mounting plates and some spacer washers

I tried to avoid buying Gladiator but one happened to follow me home last Monday. Been lurking here for some time which didn’t help.
Starting to configure her now and am interested in you system. Please add me to the list.
Thank you

Alright boys and girls. Rack installed. There are two three things to know about installing this:

1. The instructions are fantastic, but not once does it tell you when to tighten everything down. This should be done once you get the cross bars set at 34" per the instructions.
2. There are 4 rivnuts to install. If you don't have a pneumatic tool you should get one. You're given the drill bit as well as a hand tool for this but fuck the hand tool.
3. If you have a bedliner you need to "carve" away the bedliner on the two holes drilled for the rivnuts. This is easily done with a sharp knife or box cutter. This is also stated in the instructions.

The rack takes up the majority of the side rails, but it should be easy enough to drill into the rack brackets to make Builtrights side racks to work.

Here are some pictures. Let me know if you guys want any others. @BuiltRight

Nice! You should copy your post over to the Leitner thread for the guys that end up buying one.

I'm def interested. I'm really into mountain biking so I'd love a place to put my bike tools. The tools aren't really mountable, i don't think but some sort of bag or box attachment would be sick.

Love this product, thanks and look forward to seeing what happens next.
Love this idea. I've got some tools in a pelican case that I just strap to the panels in my F-150.
Count me interested too, getting closer to getting back to the states, so I'm finalizing the extras and ideas.

I think below the trail rail, and accessory mounts? I think you've got it, maybe something to hold ammo cans, molle gear and a simple bike fork mount. And with that idea, definitely along the back of the bed.

@BuiltRight when you say the passenger's side won't have the cut-out for the light, does it cover the light completely?

After trying to bungie a fuel can, hand-winch, water, and a high power compressor to the side rails with mixed results during my last off-roading adventure, consider me in the market to purchase these bedside racks.
Doesn't cover the light completely, as there's still the holes and slots in the panels. I keep meaning to take nighttime pictures. I'll do that tonight and post up.

This is AWESOME info and damn did they get greedy with the Trail Rail system! No worries though, looks like a great product. I think that with a bit of creativity, you'll be able to make our kit work with theirs.

I’m interested in this system and possibly the rack you showed originally (still waiting to buy or build a rack to see what coiling covers show up as time goes on). So if you have a list going for that bed rack, add me to that one as well. Do I need to pm you my email address for product ordering, etc?
