I feel bad for you, if you live in Florida! Look at these rip-off artists:

Jeep Gladiator Buying in Florida? I'm so Sorry... Jeep Rip-Off

I think everyone needs to start calling out these rotten highway robbers, everywhere. It needs its own thread! They need to be put out of business. This sort of thing is clearly a big F-U to consumers, after the latest FTC rules were sent out!

There is more than one dealership in south Florida. Plenty to choose from. I think even Carvana is selling brand new Jeeps now.

If you don’t do research and shop it’s your own fault and the state you live in is not the problem. Vote with your feet and your wallet.

What’s the issue? It’s $9k off a fully loaded special edition Rubicon. Even has a winch.

I fail to understand what this has to do with the State of Florida?

Perhaps I'm just missing it, so please fill me in..........

It really doesn’t…
There are no shortages of slimy car lots in EVERY state. I’m not dunking on the OP, but they probably just saw this ad and wanted to comment on it. My FL dealership was VERY fair in there price.

I was wondering the same thing but upon closer look I'm gonna guess the problem must be all the dealer trinket / add on fees at the bottom.

Around 2018 I bought my 2015 Camaro SS from a Chevrolet dealer as a certified preowned car.

This particular dealers racket was the etched glass.

On this USED car they kept wanting to charge me a few hundred dollars for this etched glass security.

I was like BRO, I know you guys racket. Yall sold the car new from this exact location - I saw the etching in the glass. Yall charged for it and did when it was NEW. I am not paying again for something you did three years ago.

Anyway - after much debate they replaced two bad tires on the car for free and left the charge, so it balanced out.

Between that interaction and another one at a Toyota dealer owned by the same group I refuse to go back to any Supreme family dealer in Louisiana.

My guess is the fact they are showing two different Today's Price is the problem. They are supposed to have the actual price in the largest print and they have two different prices in the same size print. The dealer fees in Florida are not limited like some states so they were advertising a low price and tacking on huge dealer fees in small print until the FTC got involved. They still charge the fees, just harder to hide them now. The fees at this dealer are actually lower than a lot of others I have seen.

Let it rot on the lot. It brings a massive smile to my face when I pass a stealership packed full of cars spilling over into their auxiliary lots.

Yeah. $1000 for pre delivery fee is crazy. And LoJack. WTF? I get it now LOL

Wait, LoJack might be a necessity in Florida
