I think vehicle size is a direct result of evolving safety standards.CAFE has been a failure. It forces bigger vehicles, not more efficient vehicles. Can't make the old 2 door long bed little pickups that were popular for a while. Yea it would get better mileage but under CAFE it would need to get 60mpg or something ridiculous like that. I have a saying I used, "Drive the behavior you want" They are not doing that, they are forcing bigger and bigger trucks to be able to meet the MPG requirement.
But they work in cold weather and don't explode as violently! Not surprising, V8s can't meet CAFE standards and can't match the performance and power of EVs.
Aren’t most just expensive toys?Honestly it's not surprising, I mean, I see wranglers EVERYWHERE, but not 392's. Those are expensive toys that not many people buy.
NEVER!! ?Thats good, now everyone can stop talking about it in here.

CAFE is part of the equation too.I think vehicle size is a direct result of evolving safety standards.
