Ok everyone, I’m tired and need some help lol. After installing my 3.5” game changer lift, my front axle is off center. Driver side measures 18 3/4” and passenger side is 18”. So I’m off 3/8 of an inch correct? To fix this do I need to screw in my track bar or bring it out?

Ummm just screw it one way. If it goes the right way your on track (no pun intended) if it doesn't then go the other way. Sorry can't be more help.

The track bar connect to the passenger side axle, so if you need to move the axle that way you would lengthen it. And yes, 3/8 is correct.

You need to extend your track bar ⅜ . Driver side is the fixed end and the passenger side is the axle end that moves.

You need to extend your track bar 3/16ths. Driver side is the fixed end and the passenger side is the axle end that moves.
3/16” would only move his axle by 3/8”. He needs it to move 3/4”.

Correct for some reason I thought i read ⅜ difference not ¾.
Yeah he threw both numbers out there at once, I could totally see the misunderstanding.

Since the trackbar is more angled due to the lift. I would try 7/16"

Is it best to do this with the Jeep off the ground or does that not matter?

I have only ever made this adjustment on the ground. While not scientific ? I usually center using a plumb line off the fenders, axle on jack stands, no tires and measure to the rotor face.

If you have a lift it would be best. I just do it on the ground with tires on not jack stands. On a lift you are getting the axle to shift, on the ground your getting the frame to shift. It doesn't matter if you have tires off on stands it could make it easier for you to measure.

I don’t have a lift, my thoughts were to set the axle on jack stands to make it easier to move… but I could be wrong lol.

The best way to do this is to disconnect the trackbar (either end but axle might be easier).

Set the Jeep on the ground, grab the bumper and shake the bejesus out of the whole front end. This forces the Jeep to settle where it naturally wants to sit. Then adjust the track bar to the right length and reconnect.
