Stupid topic I guess but, is the front cupholder easily removed for cleaning? Seems like it should separate from the shifter/console. 38 months of goop and dog hair in there - what are you all doing to get it tidy?

When the cupholders get dirty it's time to trade. Like the full ash trays of years gone by.

With the prices of the 2024s, I'll buy a new center console complete with cupholders and be ahead of the game!
If you’re that committed, just take your current console out and power wash it.

You need to pick up a set of detailing brushes. Also a life savor for cleaning around the emblem, door hinges, fender seams etc. or any other small hard to reach areas.

Amazon.com: SPTA

Just use an all-purpose cleaner/interior cleaner with them. I went down the auto detailing rabbit hole a couple years ago and now just purchase commercial grade products in bulk since it's way cheaper, but I wash & clean my Jeep almost weekly when the weather is nice.

Great, don't tell my sales guy that - I think he's trying again. Rats, now I have to go check my cup holders to see if it's time to trade. Thanks a lot.

There's always detail putty. Found on Amazon and whatnot.

Having a panic attack with the vent pictures. With my luck, a chunk would tear off and fall down into the vent, forever resulting in a lovely rubbery chemical smell that surely causes cancer in the state of California (CA PROP 65).

Well as a fellow AL resident I know the pain. Oddly enough I cleaned my JT's cup holders out yesterday. I've found the microfiber cloth from Walmart when wet pick up the crud pretty well. It takes a few times wipe out rinse and repeat multiple times. Living up in Bankhead the dust n dirt collectors in every area along with occasional spilled soda n coffee.... thankfully I drink coffee straight 99% of the time so no sugar or stuff to really gunk it up. :like: I drive around with windows down a lot though farming areas too so other stuff blows in too.
I've used the cleaning jell and play slime for dust n dirt in cracks and crevices it can leave a oily film at times when it's a nice Aug AL day.

Then bring it to Iowa to clean - you'd be safe, here.

On second thought - just took a better look at the 2024 interior colors - yikes, baby poop green? Who thought that would be a good idea with a blue exterior (and parts of the interior)

Spray a soapy water solution in it, scrub with a small brush, then vacuum out. Shop vac and those free vacuums at car washes are wet/dry vacs.
