2021 Jeep Gladiator Mojave.
i installed Core Tier 3 front and rear. Probably over torqued.
Rear lower control arm bushing failed. A large chunk has pushed out of the control arm and is making a really nice clunking noise.
1000 miles since installation, never been off road.
Does anyone have a part number for the poly bushing ? Something I can purchase local.
Jeep is not drivable and 4 emails and phone calls to Core 4c4 haven’t been returned.
The RJ end seems fine.
Trevor @ Core contacted me Thursday regarding my email a week earlier concerning failed bushing. Advised he was sending a replacement at no charge. He believes I put to much grease in the bushing. Verylikely.
Jeep was down 12 days , with. 1000 miles on this setup.

Thanks,
Phillip

I am wondering if the part number on the RAM 1500 will be the same. I'm not sure on that but might be worth researching.

There is really no way to damage by over-torquing... They should have a sleeve to prevent that. Now, if they were torqued while hanging, and not with the weight of the vehicle on them, that might do them in like that.

I would try to contact Core. There's a chance they may warranty them, and send out replacements... don't they have a lifetime warranty?

I can’t get a response by phone or email from Core.
i hope to find a readily available bushing to fit this.
When purchasing $2000 worth of suspension parts, I did not consider availability of wear parts(bushing).
I really hope this is not a single source item.

I have had great communication with Core via email. PM me if you would like the email address I get responses from.

On a different note, not sure who is placing the "sponsored" add on my replies, but I'm tired of seeing POS Subaru ads on my postings. I want nothing to do with Subaru's worst car ever! An entry Level car, from an entry level car company.
This is an article (one of many involving Subaru's) showing how in adequate these cars are when outside city limits. I have pictures of me towing one up Poughkeepsie gulch in Ouray Co. when it & the driver had no business being on that trail. and I have seen to many deadly accidents with all age drivers behind the wheel to ever let any of my family every ride in one again. That's just Google/DoubleClick. It's generally driven by Third-Party Cookies (the whole thing that powers "I looked for something one time on one site and now I see it everywhere"). JT Forum obviously placed the ad code to try and generate some revenue to offset the costs of running the site, but they aren't picking the actual ad content (beyond generalized categories).

So, because they got 2 flat tires, Subarus are pieces of crap? LOL Not a fan of them either but your logic is questionable.

Bump
Jeep has been down over a week .
Has anyone ever compared other aftermarket control arm bushings ?
Any of them look close to same size ?

Did you keep your factory control arms??? Just pull both lower rear control arms and slap the factory’s back on until resolved….. use the uppers to adjust and get the pinion angle…. Jeep is now drivable.

once you resolve this- you should order a couple bushings and a couple Johnny joints to keep in your trail repair kit…. Weird things happen….

Panthers65- Thank you for that link.

i did keep all old suspension parts. If I can’t find parts local , I will just reinstall all factory parts.
it will be easier to source factory replacement parts for repairs.
