That will get you a broad set of answers probably best to search the forums for past discussions. Myself I have a set of Harbor Freight Cowl Lights that work just find for my uses but if I was doing a bit more off roading I might look to put some Diode Dynamics or other type on.
What you should be asking is what type of light should I go with up there. Fog lights and Flood lights might give you glare off the hood. Driving lights should be on your bumper. I went with spot lights on my cowls, no glare at all.
I have no specific rec's on which light, but I will say that I have square LEDs on my cowl , but after having seen the round LEDs, I think they match better with the headlights and overall look of the gladiator. Happy hunting.
Rather than some tacky external light pods, you could consider the integrated Lucid VSL cowl lights from D and C Designs. They work great as side lights, they have turn signal repeaters, and they don't cause glare on the hood which ruins your night vision.
I'd had my Baja Designs lights for roughly three years before I transferred them over to my JT. Still very happy with them and ended up getting some as my fogs too.
Diode Dynamics always runs BF deals. I have the SS3 Pro's and love them. The difference between the Sport and Pro is substantial enough to pay the extra $$. I can't imagine what the Max or Max Laser would be like. Sports are still a great light at a fantastic price point but if you want some real lumens I'd recommend stepping up to the Pro.
