I bought one and was going to install it at my first oil change. The fiber washer came apart under what felt like minimal force to me, so I put the OE plug back in and called it a sound decision.
I'd feel much better about them if they used a crush washer instead of the fiber.
Mine hasn’t leaked a single drop. Same blue washer. I’ve done at least 6 changes with it.

I use the short nipple one, works perfect for me.. Never had any issues with using them yet.. Used on my Tundra, Rubicon Wrangler and my Chevy Trailboss in the past..

I need one of these to go along with my gas powered blender. 👍
I used to have one of those for my boat years ago. Good times.

I use the blender at the Power Wagon meets. Good times indeed. :CWL:

2nd Fumoto. I wouldn’t use any other brand.
Probably just a mental thing, but I feel like I'd be nervous with one of these valves going off road..

I have an Asfir skid plate, would one of these work or would they interfere?

I have a next venture oil pan skid. There’s no risk of it getting hit. Works great.

I took my truck in for oil change, tire rotation, recall and all that stuff. I drop it off at the local Jeep dealership (not the one I purchased from). I get a call back for pricing to put on sensors on new rims and tires (almost $350, i declined) but they then told me that the drain plug was damaged and they couldn’t get the plug off. They then proceeded to tell me how much it would be to fix it and only option was a new oil pan. I told them that I wouldn’t pay for it, especially since they are the only ones that have ever done the one and only oil change it’s ever had. They balked and said they would call me back. On the call back they said they would take care of it. WTF is this a common issue or what? Should I be concerned with anything?
The common issue is that dealers put the lowest paid flunkies in the oil change bay. Change your own oil, or regret it later.

No such thing as free folks.

In the case of free oil changes, the price is a fked up Jeep.
