Justine Dodge Jeep of Woodbridge Virginia is charging $5K over MSRP. Just drove a red Rubicon with an added sticker of $64K. I almost died laughing when he said $5K over MSRP. He suggested the prices would decrease by December when I'm buying.

Lucas Jeep Dodge Ram in Lumberton, NJ. Their Finance director is scum.

They called me a liar about how some dealers are going below invoice pricing.

The salesman that sold me my JK in 2015 got his Finance director out to talk to me as he has no pull on pricing of something so new (I do not blame the sales guy at all. He was fine. It was all the Finance director).

The director threw me a bunch of bullshit, blatantly told me if someone was coming from out of state he would be lying to them about pricing to get them in and price higher than normal (taking a jab at Travis from Tricity in NC), and told me no one was selling below invoice and I was stupid to be willing to spend less than $200 round trip from New Jersey to go down to NC to order from Travis.

I then called Travis, confirmed with him that the 5% was on invoice, proved them wrong and then also showed them Kate from Coatesville PA was also doing 5% below, then proceeded to call them out for saying I was lying about pricing.

I said goodbye to my salesguy (he just sat there and did nothing wrong I am assuming we still have a good relationship) and told the Finance director to get fucked, then walked out and emailed Kate in Coatesville.

/Rant

In my experience there are NO good Jeep dealers in the NJ area. My last JKU I had to travel all the way down to virginia to Farrish to find a decent deal. These dealers in the Northeast don't get it. If you cannot replicate a deal in this day and age of the internet and where we all post deals on these forums you are not going to sell cars. Speaking of no good dealers, Baker Jeep in central jersey near Princeton is another dealer to be wary of. Brand new Rubicon JT with a $5000 market adjustment. LOL , pass

I went to that dealer and had a similar experience when the JL first came out

Check out Turnersville Jeep. They’re website has some models up to 5k off. I haven’t made a serious inquiry yet, but it might be worth it to check out.

Ya'll realize that those chats are outsourced right? No one at the dealership sees those messages. It's an outsourced chat agency, probably low price in India or the Philippines. If you actually want to annoy the dealership, you'll have to go inside, email, or call directly.
the local dealer says its just AI until the local sales guy responds, lol.

Sorry to burst bubble, Kate is doing straight msrp because affiliate pricing isn't being honored by fca.

That is odd since I literally just went on Saturday and signed the paperwork. It was indeed 5% below invoice for the paperwork I signed.

Little shady maybe
Maybe I got lucky and she was yelled at for selling to me at the price she did. Who knows.
Who knows, I posted the entire text conversation in the leasing thread. she basically said, you're coming from Wisconsin? I said yes and that i'm willing to travel for pricing under invoice, then she just tried selling me the JT at like $600 under MSRP. After I questioned it, she stopped replying.
