So I got my cover installed on Friday and today we’ve been having some rain - needless to say it’s leaking quite a bit.

For the install , I did remove my bed caps and installed the shims, the bulkhead seal is also in place and aligns properly with the lid and I used sandbags to weigh down the corners prior to adjusting the rods.

What is a solution to get this thing watertight? Outside of a direct spray from a power washer of course. It’s kind of my entire reason for spending the money on it and I feel like there should be a way to keep things dry under normal rain / thunderstorms / driving conditions.

My diamondback leaks when it rains as well. I've tried a few different things to fix it, but eventually gave up.
If you remove it to haul stuff then put it back on, it's even more finnicky.
Good luck

Ugh! Disappointing to say the least. Thank you for replying though.

I have the light duty DB and the only leak I'm getting is the front end corners of the bed. The solution I made was use the left over rubber seal in the corners maybe 3-4 inches like parallel with each other. Not sure where your leak is coming from but mine is there.

I have the 270 version and the large door was leaking up near the drainage channel. I had to add a piece of the left over weather stripping to this area in order to get the leak to stop. You can see the weather stripping in the pic below that has been crushed, that is what I added to both sides to get the leak to stop.
