What are the differences between the 2020 JT and the 2019 JL in 3.6 automatic? Like parts that would be REALLY different? If someone has worked on their JL for a while, how much head scratching would they encounter with the JT before having to take it to a Jeep tech with access to more information? This includes differences like parts #s, torque specifications on various bolts, volumes for fluids, etc.
They both have the same:
Engine - 3.6L V-6 VVT DOHC
Transmission - 850RE
Clutch
Transfer case
Axles (M210 front and M220 rear)
Alternator
Battery/Starter system/Start-Stop/Remote-Start
Steering
HVAC
Emission/Exhaust
Suspension (except the actual shocks/springs parts)
Pumps, lines, wiring
So those systems should be identical, right?
I suspect the following are the biggest differences
Brakes - parts used for the pads, not general system
Cooling system
Frame (though probably very similar)
