Disable the daytime halos

We just picked up our new 22 Gladiator Rubicon with LED lights. After getting it home we noticed the daytime lights and Halos came on when it was started. Auto mode was off....so not that. Got the running lights to turn off on the screen but not the halos. We do alot of hunting so being stealthy coming and going is important. Is ther a way to get the halos to shut off?

It's the LPY code I think if a dealer does it. AlfaOBD should be able to cut them or the other options. The halos are a single wire in the 4 pin headlight harness, I suppose you could also depin that wire and tape it off....

I see you have a JLUR so assume you have the aux switches. In theory you could use one switch to trigger a relay and open the circuit on demand, so you have control to turn on or off.

Even if you don't have aux switches you could do this with a simple toggle switch hidden somewhere.

Out of curiosity, why do you want to turn them off?

I'm not sure of the exact name, but JScan has a ton of LED on/off options. Have you looked into that at all?

Read this quick and thought it said, Disable the daytime Ho's. Thought, didn't see that listed as an option.

I did try that....still on

Just find the positive wire and insert a relay and place a switch in the cab. Problem solved
