Do Wranglers Wave at Gladiators?

Yes! Waves, waves and more waves! Then they usually lean out and turn over their left shoulder to watch my JT drive away LOL. Love being back in the Jeep Wave club, it's been several years.

I get the waves just as often as I got them when I had my JK and JL Wranglers. I remember when the 4dr JKU's came out and you had a certain faction that thought they were not real Jeeps but that eventually soften over time.

Then there is the 25% rule of people just being assholes because they are.

I hazard a guesstimate that it’s about 15-20% here in Northwestern Vermont and mostly young girls who don’t have a clue, lol.

A lot of people also thought the Scrambler wasn’t a real Jeep. Look at their prices now at auction.
I’ve had a CJ, TJ, JK, JKU and now a JT. I’ve done all my own lifts and mods. Don’t want to wave at me, that’s fine. I’m more a Jeeper than those who aren’t waving at me will ever be.

Yes…..but I think it's because we fool them. They can’t tell we are in gladiator until it’s too late to stop the wave process.

Basically we “catfish” them highly effectively

I wave at both. I’ve come to find that the more mods I have the better my chances are at getting a wave back. I rarely get waved at by stock Jeeps. I also own both Wrangler and Gladiator and get an equal amount of waves regardless of whether im in my wife’s or mine.

Yeah, the young girls and soccer mom type females I do not even bother unless they wave first. They usually give you the stranger danger look like you are going to stalk and violate them.

You guys that already have your Gladiators, do you get a Jeep wave from Wranglers?
I’d also like to hear from the Wrangler guys and see if you wave at Gladiators.
Ive seen a lot of comments on other social media from Wrangler guys talking about the Gladiator isn’t a real Jeep lol. Seems some people genuinely have their feelings hurt about this Gladiator What’s up with that? Be careful because you might accidentally wave at one. They look the same from the front

I haven't been denied a wave by a wrangler cus its a gladiator. But i have been told by a guy with a YJ that he only waves at YJs and TJs cus anything else ain't a real Jeep. I don't subscribe to that mentality. Its no different then the fragile patch vest boys who think they can just "own" a lane and prohibit passing. Where I'm from we wave regardless, a whole hand means thank you, 2 finger means howdy, 3 fingers means hows your mom and them, double horn is for your best friend. So with that in mind, I don't care what you drive, if you wave at me, I wave back.

I drive my Mojave on the weekends , but put about 35,000 miles yearly on a F-250 crew cab, and on Mondays I am still waving at Jeeps from F-250 and they wave back. Today was great , saw a Bronco coming at me about same color as my Hydro blue Mojave and waved , while doing the wave I was thinking what the hell are ya doing, then the Bronco full on waved hand out the window! ?…..Jack
