I find the “regret” threads some of the most insightful. No matter how much research you do, you never know how it’s going to work out until you’ve lived with the decision for a while.

By the time you've convinced yourself to buy, you've already convinced yourself it's the best decision, and if you are on the fence a little thing called cognitive dissonance will kick in to remind you "You're awesome! Of course you made the best choice. You wouldn't have made that choice if it wasn't the best one!"

The thing a LOT of people need to remember: that little voice in your head that tells you you're awesome and you always make good decisions, sometimes it forgets to add the caveat that the good decisions you make are good for you and not everyone in the world! This is how you end up with ford/gm/mopar fanboys, or the people who legitimately care about apple vs android, or playstation vs xbox console warriors. Don't even get me started on heritage pride. You're proud your great-grandparents once fucked in italy so now you can't even pronounce mozzarella without sounding like a tool? Nah. Maybe have an interest in your heritage, pride is too much.

We're a funny bunch. Just billions upon billions of people all desperately searching for ways to feel superior to each other when cosmically by the time humans are extinct, we'll be a meaningless blip on the celestial timetable occupying an otherwise-unused corner of space.

Only issue I’ve had was no diesel option, but I understand the reasons why it’s not available.

I'm in love. I had a '16 JKU Sport, a '19 JLU Rubicon, and now a '22 Mojave. Best Jeep I've driven. I occasionally reminisce about the pep of the 2L turbo in the JLUR, but I love this thing.

I like suspension that works well at a bit of speed and rides rougher while still being what I consider smooth. The stock suspension on the other JT's makes me sad.
