I keep it clean but it’s been on a few lights trails nothing big. I do use it on construction sites pretty often so I do pick up a lot of gravel and rocks but so far no chips.

So this is what I did , I purchased weathertech scratch protection kit : https://www.weathertech.com/jeep/2021/gladiator/scratch-protection/ ...So this comes in a long strip with the door protection first then the sill plates and then the door edge guard..so when you cut out the door edge guards cut right next to the actual cut out for the guards, I think fronts are on one side and the rears are on the other side of the strip..do not cut down the black line but next to the guard that way you will have extra to apply to the door hinges. If you cut it out just right you will have enough to do all 8 hinges ! This is the same stuff they use on the painted rear wheel flairs ! Mine are now protected !?

3m protective film on the hinges as soon as you get home from the lot. learned the hard way on my JLUR the first trip after 35s I had chips.
Also, recommend putting the film on the hood hinges, those chipped to hell too.

If the damage is done, Mopar's touchup paint pen generally makes it convincing enough. do not pull the hinges unless you intend to paint under them.

I stuck some paint protection film on the forward-facing surfaces of mine. No chips in 28k miles and 2-1/2 yrs. I also have Rokblokz splash guards which definitely helps.

I got a massive one at 300 miles. All the way down to the metal. Not super thrilled about it, but c'est la vie.
Ordered a touch up paint stick and mud flaps

Looking
I just ordered these and will try to paint with the Mopar spray paint I just got to match the Jeep. I'll post up pics later if it comes out good.
No pics, does that mean it didn't turn out good? ;)

I'd like to see pics though if you have them to see how well paint matching did. Those Amazon protectors don't seem to have much forward facing protection though. Wonder if other brands do.
