I’m trying to get a hold of T&S to order resonator section have no luck at all. Looks like I’ll just be cutting one in.

I too ordered the straight pipe hoping for turbo sound but got none so I bought a 12 inch Volant resonator from Summit, was still too loud so I bought a 12 inch muffler and now it sounds like stock. The total length of that section is 33 1/2 inches. You just need one band clamp to put it in.

This thread is going to make me have a racecar and a race jeep… Bang for buck seems like a no brainer to go SOTF tune with full exhaust and trans tune.

Did stage 2 50 hp delete with turbo to axle pipe last yr. Ran great with stock tires. Now have 35s and I now see why ppl want the trans tune. Will definitely order when finances allow. Also to note ordered axle back exhaust Jan 4th and it just arrived this week.
That is a crazy long wait time. Do you think they will refund me if I ask? I just found out about the MRBP axle back exhaust that is available stateside. It is cheaper too and still stainless steel so I might go with that option if EOC refunds me for the axle back.

This exhaust was mentioned earlier in the thread as well which might be an option

I get around
How are y'all tying your t&s exhaust into the factory filter back setup? Mine came with a 3 inch two bolt flange but factory is 2.5 two bolt. The sealing surface didn't seem substantial so I fabbed up a 2.5-3 dual flange with taper pipe. It added about 3 inches in length that I had to make up for with a shorter mid pipe.

I'm considering an mbrp filter back setup. Does anyone know which flange it comes with? Also, how does it sound without mufflers? I am afraid it's going to be too loud straight piped. For reference, my TJ has a 4bt that is straight piped. It sounds good but is on the loud side. The other thing that has apprehensive about the mbrp setup is that it's 409 instead of 304. For the price, it seems hard to beat though.

The straight pipe is pretty loud and personally don’t really find the V6 sound too appealing, spent too much time with V8’s in my youth I guess. I don’t really see the cost savings of the aluminized exhaust, a full stainless system is less than $1k 🤷‍♂️

The turnaround time was faster than I expected from Mrtuning. Ordered it March 31st, they received my cloned ECU on April 7th and I had everything to my door by April 21st. Not bad at all.
Good to know! With all the complaints about EOC I don't understand why people still use them and don't go directly to MrTuning.

Thank you, but I already have the exhaust from the turbo to the stock axle back muffler. I'm probably going to give this one a shot and sell the EOC axle back kit when it comes in. Or give it to my dad.

MBRP Axle Back Exhaust

That one is half the price of the T&S axle back from EOC and it ships from the USA so I don't have to get dinged by the tariff situation. I was very happy that the exhaust made it to me without any issues.

Right!? He was also better with answering my questions and the SOTF map is the same price as a single map tune, not up-charged by EOC.

To be fair, EOC just refunded me a few hours after I emailed them (minus a $25 admin fee). So I am going to drive around with the stock exhaust for a while and then maybe get the MBRP axle back.

proposed this exhaust … 409 stainless is good enough for me in the desert … I never seen stock 409 rust. The deal breaker is the flex pipe … that’s a lot of pipe hard mounted to an engine on rubber mounts … I think the flex pipe is critical

True, it's odd that in both the Ram and Wrangler Gen 3 Eco Diesel they have the flex pipe but don't have it with the Gladiator.

The cheaper exhausts are without flex joints… the more expensive pipe from EOC by T&S has the plex pipe, as well as the EGR block off plate (the one you install below the vehicle)

28 mpg! What were you averaging before the weight loss?
I was getting 19…. My normal daily driving has me at 22 mpg. It’s hard to stay off the skinny pedal these days
