Did the dealership even change my fuel pump? It doesn’t look like anything was touched here.

Pump lives under that QR code thing with the cover, I don’t recall mine having a QR code there before but now it looks like yours.

Edit, looks like your cover is just as dirty as the rest of the engine bay, but that doesn’t mean they didn’t change it.

If you google the actual pump, it looks like this:

It looks like the pump is partially visible under that cover with the QR code, and it looks like it’s dirty, like it’s the old pump. Like they didn’t replace it.

Seems a conversation with the manager is in order tomorrow… in person. Take the truck in. Show them the dirt, show them your pictures.

I keep calling my dealer service department and they say there’s a backlog and they’re not getting enough of the parts in at a time. I’ve supposedly been on their wait list since February.
My shitty dealer has had me waiting since November on the pump. Also on that note supposedly they ordered me a new harness for my rear locker about 18 months ago with no word.

Yeah, looks like they pencil whipped that job.
If and when my dealer ever calls me, I think I'll mark my old pump somehow to make sure they did it.

The pump has dirty marks like everything else in that engine bay. Looks like the tech just kinda wiped down the cover a little. Was it on a Monday or Friday? Lol

Ok I finally had time to go back to the dealership. My service advisor got all defensive when I said my pump hasn’t been replaced and said “We don’t do that kind of stuff here.” The service manager looked at my engine and said that their mechanic mixed my car up with another car. They took my car back and said it will be done by tomorrow.

Who knows what really happened. That’s the story they’re giving me.

They took your truck back. I would have made a mark somewhere on the pump they maybe wouldn’t see just to be sure, but a man’s word says a lot. Especially if they didn’t give you the run around and took it back in. Mistakes do happen, hopefully it is corrected.

The original pump is so dirty, it will be obvious if it was replaced or not. It would take more work to clean it than to replace it.
