I just want to thank Justinswidebody for his help flashing my salvaged PCM. It was because of his posts that I went that route. It was surprisingly easy with his guidance.
Thank Justin!

If you want to clone your own ECU, you can purchase the tools to do it yourself for less than $150.
You have to purchase a Chinese clone of a scanmatik 2 pro, and use pcmflash version 1.20
You can get the clone scanmatik 2 pro from here:

17k reviews @ 95.9% positive, having been a 20 year ebay buyer & seller, I'd trust these folks in a heartbeat. 4 still available @ $182.59 shipped.Has anyone recently successfully ordered a new PCM? If so, where did you get it?
I've tried three companies and called multiple dealerships. Nobody has them in stock and they don't know when they will be available again.
Thank you. I didn't think to check eBay17k reviews @ 95.9% positive, having been a 20 year ebay buyer & seller, I'd trust these folks in a heartbeat. 4 still available: https://www.ebay.com/itm/1661001680...uid=6ceqmJuSRrW&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
I just want to throw a huge +1 out here for @Justinswidebody - he helped me out tremendously with getting my ECU read and a new one written. It was a very simple process. I had a few hiccups (related to drivers not installing) but in the end, everything worked very smoothly and easily. Thank you!Chris,

Mike,I also grabbed another fuse box cover so I could create a mounting surface to leave my stock PCM in place the entire time. I still haven't removed the stock PCM. Fuse box cover was $28 or something then another $5 for bolts and wingnuts, not a huge expense to be able to hot swap them in seconds thanks to just enough loom in the stock wiring. This way I can just pull the lid with the "extra" PCM, put the stock cover in place and back to stock. I'll post some pics once done.
