Fender chop using AA labs bracket(would not recommend due to rust) on 38x13.5s and 1.5in level front .75 back.

Can’t you just tape everything off and repaint them and I don’t have any sand close to where I live I don’t know what chop kit lights to go with AA Labs told me that they are 15 to 20 weeks behind on orders it even says that on their webpage

I ended up with Quake LED tinted chop kit. Was in stock and delivered in less than a week.

I was going to get the AAL ones except for the long wait and ridiculous shipping quote. I emailed them about some other products I was going to order and there website's ridiculous shipping and never even got a reply. Thats when I decided to go with the Quake LED version.

More like a fender trim than a chop. Only trimmed away what was needed to be trimmed away. Left the majority of the OEM liner and edge trim untouched.

Going to be doing the Quake LED Chop this weekend actually but with the thicker ones. Once i get them in i'll post some pics, but I really liked the look in person when I saw them in person at jeep beach.

Is there anyway to give your fenders some more support after doing the fender chop and taking your fenders apart and taking the factory inner fenders out

I did a fender chop on my JTR. I used the quake smoked led kit. To make sure the fenders stayed, I made my own aluminum washers and bolted them in via rivnuts to where all the plastic clips held. It was some extra work for a dyi project.

here’s my YouTube video of it.

How do you like the quake fender lights that’s the lights I am going to use because I like the smoke lens and are the rear fender liners the plastic ones from rugged ridge I been looking at them I bought some paramount automotive front fender liners they are plastic but they don’t have the plastic rear fender liners right now they said it would be a month or so

Do not chop. Get a proper lift and fit 37’s easily. Going the chop route makes your fenders and wheel well liners look butchered and the accompanying spacer lift is not the right way to gain clearance. For a level it’s fine but if the goal is to fit larger tires, get a legit designed lift kit from a reputable company. It never ceases to amaze me how folks drop $50k on a JT but then baulk at doing the suspension the correct way, imho.

I like the look of the chop. Less cheap black plastic that will eventually fade.

I do like my quake fender chop led’s, they have been solid so far. And yea those are the rugged ridge rear li era that I am using. I went that way versus aluminum due to me installing a rock jock anti rock rear swaybar.

I have the proper lift to run my 37 inch tires and I am probably going to 38 inch tires when I have to buy new tires just looking for a different look there’s so many gladiators running around I just want something different
