Congratulations!

I bought my 2020 during COVID, Sport S MaxT, with automatic, hardtop, premium audio, bedliner, convenience group for 43,000. So I think you got a good deal in these extreme times. Every vehicle loses value, and a good way to be miserable is to fixate on what ifs. We could all be dead tomorrow, and no one will be talking about the trade in value of our vehicles at our funerals.

Forest, trees.

Point is, you should be happy. A first new car is a big life milestone, and you picked a good one. As you can see below, I don't give a damn about my resale value. :)

Congrats and welcome! Quadratec wheels are a good choice, reasonably priced and what I went with. I stuck with the stock Mojave 33" tire size of (285/70R17) but with KO2's instead of the Falkens. The sale of my stock wheels and tires for $1,000 paid for half of my upgrade. Drives smoother and quieter than with the Falkens in my opinion.

Thanks. Where did you end up selling your stock tires/wheels? I feel like the market isn't very hot for those stock things.

Stock wheels and tires off of a Mojave or Rubicon are a little easier to get rid of. Folks with Sports and Overlands will buy em up (like I do).

The stock Sport wheels and tires? Nearly impossible. You'd have to just about give them away. Luckily, they are the same bolt pattern as my '93 Chevy truck so I'm gonna see if they can live on there...

I sold mine on Craigslist. Facebook Marketplace is another way to go. As another poster stated, selling Sport wheels vs Rubi or Mojo is another thing. Limited demand for Sport tires/wheels for the same reason that you want the change.

During the month that it took for mine to be built and delivered, I purchased, mounted and balanced them and had them sitting in the garage ready to go. On the day of delivery, I drove it home and switched them out. The stock wheels/tires had 35 miles on them. Sold them in one day.

If you are considering a purchase of the Wildpeak AT3's from Discount, I would check the classifieds in the area that you live for new take-offs from Rubicon's or Mojave's. For the same price you can get those same tires and get the wheels for free. ;)

Congratulations!

especially since you haven’t had a new vehicle in a long time I would highly suggest driving it stock for a while before you make any changes. If nothing else it will give you a good understanding of how capable the truck really is in it’s completely stock set up, and help guide whatever upgrades you’re looking to do.
agreed. my gladiator was the most expensive single purchase (other than a house), that i’ve ever made. so i get the anxiousness. take it slow, there’s no rush. figure out what’s important to you. there were some parts that i had a choice on - wait for the ones i really want, or get something else quick. i chose to wait because i knew i’d kick myself later. take your time, learn from the rest of us (we’re all here learning from each other), and most importantly make it yours and have fun!
