OK....take my money.

my suggestion for the space would be purely for aesthetics.
take an image...a jeep, spartan, oracle logo (whatever). 3d print a replacement panel with the chosen image slightly raised and have the negative space light up with LED...maybe as part of the brake light function.

If it was a spartan helmet..it would look like the inside of the helmet is glowing.

If some of you guys have 3D printers and want to design your own insert, we can potentially open source this and share the panel file for anyone who wants to print their own custom part.

These housings can be painted but we would not offer a custom painting option for the initial production. We may offer this in the future though.

Beta testing begins next week, we need to do testing with this design in "real world" scenarios in order to make sure we are meeting performance, compliance, and durability benchmarks. Once beta is completed we will have a production time-table worked out.

We want to get these to market as soon as possible but we need to provide a reliable product which meets (exceeds) customer expectations. Development and product refinement take some time but we have to complete our entire PPAP process before production begins.
