Also questioned the part in the video about the need for a programmer to set the taillights to LED.
This is simply pointing out that if you are already using a Taser you can simply switch the programmer tail light setting to LED and eliminate the need for a resistor.

OK, first observation is that the amount of wires between the two plugs is different. Not sure if it matters.
Second issue is the plugs won’t connect, it’s almost as if the gasket sealing rubber within the plug won’t let it go any further. Both sides have this issue—the stock one connects back without issue.

Dang that’s not good. Any chance you’d be willing to mock install them and post a few pictures? Just for us too excited to wait.

Really makes you wonder about their product testing procedures. Seems like several of their JT products have had these teething issues.

The factory gasket has already been compressed so they may snap in easier. You just need to use some muscle, watch our video for more help.

Yes, there are the appropriate number of wires for complete tail light functionality.

I’m using a decent amount, but I’ll give it another whirl. I’ll remove more of the harness from the inside for leverage.

I'll send you my address and you can ship them to me. Iam pretty good at getting things to "werk" and I'll come up with a solution?

Not thrilled with the fitment, but it’s not terrible. The real issue is on the tailgate side. There is a screw that is sticking too far out, causing it to hit the metal of the taillight hole, causing a gap. You can see where the paint is chipped and on the screw.

OK, got the plug to go by pulling out the harness more for leverage. However, with the BSM sensors, if you go to put the harness clips back into the body of the Jeep, it won’t have enough slack to reach. I installed the sensor in the cradle as it came, but I think it needs to be moved upside down.

EDIT: can’t be moved upside down. I guess that last harness clip can’t be connected.

Might get them installed tonight. Might be this weekend as I was waiting for these to do my electrical installs (maximus-3 sport bar lighting, oracle reverse and oracle flush mount)

Looks like they had that screw interference on their test truck too, not sure if they just bent their sheet metal out of the way a bit or ground it down but theirs does seem to fit up tighter to the vehicle all around.

I'll probably take a plyers (with rubber strip between the plyers teeth and sheet metal) to persuade the sheet metal inward a bit.

That gap doesn't look to be much bigger than my factory lights.
That being said, thanks for the headups about that screw. I'll see if I can replace it with a flush one before installing it.
