I called overland vehicle systems on my way home from work and the dude I spoke to said they sell more of the nomadic with that extra sliver vs the lt w/ out it. He said the nomadic is bout 15 lbs more. I just keep thinking if it gets windy it’s another failure point with it having another arm or arms, and being 200 bucks more idk if that’s worth it to me. I’m still leaning towards the lt. Tomorrow is the last day of the sale so I need to decide soon. Plenty of you guys said the lt is enough coverage.
lol, a sales guy tried to upsell you? That’s odd…

I don’t see it mentioned yet- whatever coverage option you go with, I would recommend looking into if they sell a replacement hinge. Wind happens at the wrong time all the time… ??‍♂

I had the full size on a previous rig and it was ENORMOUS!! Really loved it when it was beating down the sun or in the heavy rain. I haven't grabbed one yet for my current rig but will probably go with the LT just because I really never needed all of that space.

I have been thinking of getting one but I have a ARE fiberglass shell camper and not sure how I would mount it. Probably not have it on there all the time. Has anyone done that?

Let's see plenty of pictures after you mount it. I was checking these out also.
I will once I mount it! Going wheeling/camping March 9th and the place has some pretty tight trails, so I was waiting until after that! Sucks it’s just been sitting in my shed, but I couldn’t pass up on the sale!

FYI, there will be plenty of RTTs and awnings at the Overland expo at great prices.

Finally put the awning on yesterday! I really like it. Might have to adjust it and move it forward slightly. So there isn’t as much gap towards my tailgate/contour canopy. I just wish I could tuck it up against the side of the truck more, but it’s limited with how far you can push in their bracket on the load bar. But overall for the price, it’s good quality. Set up is quick and easy to pack. I think I might order some led strips and attach em to the bottom rails. So if anyone recommends any particular strips let me know. I don’t want something too cheap but not too expensive. Just something reliable. I would hate to put the adhesive on and the lights start burning out or something randomly.

Buy some different brackets. I have an Alu-Cab awning on Alu-Cab load bars and the awning is butted right up to the the end of the bar. You may have to drill some new holes on your awnings frame but what are a few holes among friends?

What have you done to your suspension to keep from sagging with your setup?

So far absolutely nothing. Clayton’s springs been holding up good. I was going to call them this week, to get some info on there heavy duty springs, just to pick their brains with my set up. Right now there is no gear in my bed, and we are a family of 4. So the weight will go up!
