Maybe I'm the outsider in this segment, as I didn't read the whole thread.

But, Why? Seriously. Respectfully. Teach me.

The 3.6 is a good N/A motor. If you want to go ape-sh*t then put in a V8 Hemi or Chevy LS1.
Or buy a Ford EcoBoom.

I have 6500 dollars into a supercharger that looks like factory and has factory reliability. All my factory systems work as intended, and no cutting splicong or welding had to be done to my truck. The stock trans seems to be holding up great. I am generating V8 power numbers. Even if I build an forged 3.6L engine I will still be 20K ahead for the same power levels.

The cost to upgrade internals is much lower than even buying a decent V8 crate engine. You can push a v6 well into hellcat territory without all the labor. I have personal experience pushing v6 motors into the 4 digits repeatably. For me this is nothing new and obviously overlooked in the market. Hence, why I am working to help provide an option for those who want the power but don't want to drop $35k+ to get it.
