I have a JTD370 that had the HPFP replaced in December 2023 under the recall and on Jan 2 the replacement HPFP went. The Jeep has been at the dealer since and all the parts are on back order. I also have has a rear axel locker sensor that has been on backorder with Jeep since November as well. Jeep keeps pushing out the ETA of the parts and cannot give me a hard ETA date. I contacted “Jeep Cares” to see if they can help. What a joke! I had made plans to attend the Easter Jeep Safari this year and looks like I will not be going. I love this Jeep with the diesel motor but at this point I am thinking of moving on. Rant over…

Are other people having issues as well?

This is the first replacement pump failure I've heard about.
Does not bode well for us that wanted a permanent solution.

Did your replacement HPFP do what the older ones did and send metal shavings throughout the rest of the fuel system or did something else happen to it?

I believes this is the 3rd or 4th one including the JL forum.

Not doubting you, but couldn't find anything. Can you post some links?

Kept complaining to Jeep cares and they will eventually start caring.

Mine went out in 2022 and they replaced it with the same pump since the recall was just at the beginning stage. They also replace the fuel rails and injectors. Then Jan 2024, my jeep stalled and died on me similar to what happened when the pump went out in 2022. They were able replace it with the new recall pump the next day. Then a week later, my jeep stalled on me again in similar fashion to the two last times. But they tested it for about a week and there was no signs of metal, the pump was good, pressure was good, and the test on the diesel came back good. So, not sure why it stalled again in similar fashion.

There is no magic bullet or person that can be called to make anything go any faster. 90% of anything getting done any quicker is going to depend on your dealer and if they want to put you in front of the line over others to allocate parts and repair.

No, it lost fuel press but did not send metal shaving throughout. I has a check engine light that came on a few days after the replacement HPFP was replaced. They diagnosed it as low pressure in one of the fuel injectors. They put in fuel injector cleaner and said it should take care of it. One week later the pump went.

I hear you however I don’t have time to spend begging Jeep to take care of it. I am trying to stay positive but I am starting to loose faith in Jeep.

A guy I work with has had multiple issues with his Ram ecodiesel which sound similar to ya'lls. His went out and he had it back for a few weeks and the truck died on him and was towed back to the same dealer. He paid out of pocket for the repairs the first time so he's not too happy and laughs that his 20 some year old 12v 3500 has had very few issues in almost 400k miles but the new truck cannot make it too 100k. I believe they replace the HPFP, the lines and injectors the first time it was in the shop

The dealer assured me that there was nothing in the system. I am at their mercy in hope if they are telling me the truth. I just want it fixed and to work correctly.
