Fuel neck mod happiness

So glad I got the mod done before going on vacation!
Hit a couple gas stations in the Midwest that only had the "big boy" diesel nozzels, and it was so nice to just fill up and go without messing with the funnel. Plus, those pumps usually pump at a much higher volume, so using the funnel probably would be a mess.

Yes, one of the reasons I got that Diesel Only filler neck ring.
I'm the only one that fuels it up, so small percent chance of wrong fuel going in.
Worth it though.

I have 2 diesel jeeps and still managed to not pay attention once and made the gas nozzle fit the oem filler...

With the larger high speed neck the odds are much greater to make that mistake

One of the first mods I made... deleted the restrictor. For me, its not hard to figure out which nozzle is green... a.k.a - diesel.

I do like the diesel ring tag you have around the nozzle.

I've come across pumps that had the wrong nozzle on them. Plus the wrong color.

I've seen some asshat hang up the diesel nozzle on the gas side and the gas nozzle on the diesel side.

The station down the road has a green, gasoline-size nozzle on two of their diesel pumps, but the other two are correct. That's frustrating if the wrong one is occupied.

I've seen people do that just to screw others over, especially at pumps that activate when you remove pump handle and just squeeze it.

I do remember two young 2LT's that took off on weekend trip to Italy from Germany (before the Berlin Wall came down) they filled up their car with D.F. that went well for them.? The Company Commander getting a call plus ass chewing from BN and BDE Commanders, then having to go pick them up. Needless to say their passports got locked up in unit safe afterwards. The rest of us in the company went through hell over it.

My dumbass saw this thread, started scrolling and saw the pool noodle in the ad and was like “WTF kinda nonsense mod is this?”

Few other things:

1. Added this to my AMZ cart. Thanks!
2. I can verify that the funnel works and it’s also good for getting diesel all over the side of your truck.
3. The BP stations around me have Green gasoline pump handles and black diesel ones. ?
