Who all has made the switch, from their 3.6 to a 3.0? Any regrets, concerns etc? Also, since I'm essentially keeping the same body vehicle some of my mods I'm keeping. Pretty easy for the most part but how are dealers with swapping the wheels at time of purchase? Are they cool with it or is is it typically frowned upon?

You need to ask, they don't want the liability of you doing anything on the lot. Also, once you sign the papers, you can no longer do anything with the old vehicle without their permission. Any changes or item removal should be done prior to taking it to the lot.

If you want them to swap wheels between the old and new truck, negotiate it as part of the sale.

Appreciate the insight. Everything I want to or can keep will already be off. The wheels are just the tricky thing since they're kinda needed lol. Thanks again.

Pick up some cheap takeoffs if they won't deal with you. They go for like 400 bucks around here for sport wheels and tires.

Not sure what part of TX you're from but I have some stock Max Tow wheels/tires or a set of Texas Trail edition wheels/tires that I will sell you cheap. You can put them on for the trade in.

Appreciate it. I'm in Killeen. Just kinda window shopping right now and seeing if the jump over is even worth it.

No worries. I've been meaning to put them up for sale on here and haven't done it yet. Good luck!

If you can’t find stock wheels to do the trade with (as folks said above) and they agree to do the swap, make sure that the wheel swap is noted on the “We Owe - You Owe” sheet at the time of purchase. Otherwise, you could be SOL if they decide to not swap the wheels.
