Gauge options for showing regen, etc

Looking for options on gauges that will show Regen, DPF, EGT etc etc. I know of Banks, but just under 300 bucks seems like a lot of money just for a gauge. I don't plan on getting anything else banks(going GDE for tune)so there's no other advantage either. Don't want to go the cell phone route becuase I don't like having to mount my phone so I can monitor it while driving. So any other options out there?

Lol well you didn't say it had to be pretty. Function >looks . GDE has Regen notification option but a dedicated guage will give you more info. You could always just hide the display or get someone to 3d print you a nice mount for it.

I use a bluetooth OBD2 reader with OBD Fusion app on my iPhone, I already have my phone mounted so wasn't an issue for me. With all the short trips I make I am always keeping an eye on my DPF regen status.
Scangauge is the only other option I know of that is not ridiculously priced that will show what you are looking for.

I believe your options are limited here with your requirements. Must be cheaper than banks and not look OAF. That said aero gauge is an option. Do note we also have GDE tune and looking at going banks datamonster in a aero gauge mount.

I know this thread is dated, but I just experienced my first active regeneration (that I know of) and it spooked me a little.
I have a 2022 JTRD w/ about 5,500k miles . I have never experienced/seen any notifications until yesterday.

I drive mostly short trips/city. Not much high speed highway.

I have read of people going into limp mode or the vehicle not restarting because of this, why ?

Do you know if I can monitor it with an Android phone ? (Im assuming for a 2022 we would acess it the the ODBII port)
Or
Would I need something like the scangauge ? (II or III )
Can you explain why it is so important to monitor the cycles/situation ? What would monitoring allow me to do or change ? Since these cycles are automatic, wht the need to worry about them so much ?

I'm using the Banks iDash gauge. You can set it up to read a number of different readings.
