I don’t know of any rules that they have to return the $$, if they take $500 bucks from you then they have the upper hand in the event that you want to get it back, and it doesn’t hurt anything to get it in writing - my salesman just wrote down ‘fully refundable’ on my build sheet showing the deposit so it’s not a big deal

Absolutely. Getting it in writing is always best.

What advantage/security is a refundable deposit for the dealer? It's a win win for the customer.

11/7: Built pending installation of additional features or optional equipment (bed liner?)
11/23: The jeep is in Quality Inspections (no delivery dates yet)

Seems to me my build went backwards according to the build info we have. It should have went to the body vendor for accessories after the inspection process, not before.

What should my expectation be about delivery now? What have others here experienced for delivery timeline after getting the window sticker? Jeep Cares and my dealer have been lacking in such info.

My wife's wrangler was delivered this month about 3 weeks after the window sticker showed up. Looks like our gladiators might be sharing a train ride to winston salem since we are both in NC. I am hoping to get it by the 3rd week in December.

Got my build sheet yesterday and not even 12 hours later my window sticker showed.. time to book my plane ticket for stand by.

My wife's wrangler was delivered this month about 3 weeks after the window sticker showed up. Looks like our gladiators might be sharing a train ride to winston salem since we are both in NC. I am hoping to get it by the 3rd week in December.

I did a chat with Jeep Care today and they finally gave a delivery window of 12/2 - 12/16. Yes we are on the same train. I am hoping the Employee pricing continues into December. I'm getting a 2021 Overland.

I got a 2021 VIN from my dealer yesterday, a document that shows the vehicle build with package options. It also has a status of “D1-Gateline: plant has sequenced the unit for production, estimated ship date assigned.“ Date is Dec 27. Also the vehicle build sticker is assigned to my name.
When I entered this into the tracker in post #1 it comes up as ”Not Found”. Any ideas?

Lucky. I ordered 11/4 and have my vin and von, jeep chat says they have all the parts and its ready to be assembled but that's what they've been saying since last week......
