So, my Deal has been inked and I was able to generate a $500 rebate using True Car. Now, fair warning that I “recall” seeing Gupton and / or maybe one of the other discount providers had a carve out on their pricing fine print if you search through True Car, which may jack with your deal so read your fine print first! However, my dealer didn’t care and they were able to add the $500 rebate to my Gobi Mojave as if it were factory cash. I’ll admit that I don’t fully understand how True Car monetizes their service, but I image that they are a lead generator for contracted dealers and probably get paid a kickback from that dealer. However, it would appear that my dealer isn’t a True Car dealer, so that rebate applied to my name / email / phone in my account and could be applied to the deal. So, if you’re in the clear with your fine print, you may just want to go to the True Car website and registered with an account. Build out a Gladiator similar and go through their silly Q&A and then you‘ll likely see a screen that asks if you want to see incentives or something similar and click into that. I then received an error that I didn’t qualify and later received an email with a $500 incentive.

I'm curious when the order tracker updated for everyone who has taken delivery?

Mine is showing "Built" with an estimated delivery date of 6/13 (Monday) so I'm not optimistic it will show up, but maybe the tracker just takes a while to update?

More and more boxes keep on arriving. Some of ya probably have heard of my disdain for Black wheels and maybe even my lack of funding for Sand or Desert Tan wheels currently offered. So I decided to take a chance, sight unseen, on some Matte Bronze wheels. While I don’t have a Gladiator to mount them on yet, and really see how they jibe with Gobi, I do think they look way better than anticipated.

I would like to make all of those “bolt heads” either matte Black or Mojave Orange. Or is that too much?

they look good. Imma go with bronze wheels as well.

I would leave the bolt heads or paint em black. Orange would clash I think.

i do like those wheels! i second leaving the bolts alone or black. i don’t think orange would look good on the wheel. could be wrong though. im thinking black wheels for my gobi.
