Maybe @JeepCares on this forum can provide some customer assistance? FCA trolls all these forums for some reason??
they won’t do anything or should I say can’t do anything bc it’s with FCAs attorneys now. I have give this them plenty of chances to help and I was given the run around.

As of right now the new axle solved the grinding and whining noises. I have had the check engine light come on and go off twice since getting the truck back, engine roughness at idle and the axle e locker engaging in 2wd. I haven’t driven it much though as I am waiting on the response from FCA first before I take the truck back in. I for sure cannot enjoy this truck!

Sorry to hear. Having done the lemon dance with FCA and know what a nightmare it is i wish you all the luck in the world. I found they were more interested in preserving image than preserving long time, repeat customers. I hit them everywhere I could from a TV news consumer advocate program to Facebook and everywhere in between. We even gave away Lemon candy at our bike week booth to anyone that shouted F@#K Ram. That got some attention from FCA who were trying to peddle new trucks at the show.

They keep expecting me to back down but at this point I won’t. I meet the Lemon Law requirements, and the truck is actually a lemon yet they want to save face and not do what’s right by the customer. At this point, I am waiting on their response and if they come back with anything other than a buy back the attorney will file the paperwork for litigation.

I went through this in NC with Ford. I made them replace my vehicle. Straight up replacement. 49 days it spent in the shop in the first 6 months. That truck was a p.o.s. The loan paperwork was rewritten. Everything. They got my 2011 F150 with 27k miles on it and gave me a 2012 F150 with zero miles. I took that thing straight to a Ram dealer and traded it on a Ram.

I am currently in the process of FCA buying back my 2020 Jeep Gladiator. This all began on 8/29/2020 when my car went into the shop for the first time. On October 30th myself and FCA agreed and signed on the buyback price. I was told it would take up to 20 days for the check to be printed. Once the checks are printed they have to go back to the retention division and someone from the disposition team will call me to schedule the surrender. Has anyone recently gone thru a buyback from FCA, if so what is the turnaround time to get this scheduled and to surrender it over? I feel like this has gone on way too long.

it is going to take a while. Don’t expect them to move fast. I have limited my response and activity on here for a reason.
I started mine in Mid feb of 2020 and surrendered on jun 1st 2020.

Back in 2011 when they bought back our 2010 Grand Cherokee it took about 6 months for everything to get completed.

I would suggest informing your counsel that you are posting this information on the forum if you have not already. Its usually considered a bad idea to discuss ongoing litigation outside of the appropriate settings, and in this case to make public record of it.

Good luck with your case.

my attorney knows about this thread. I’m not concerned about what’s on it at all. But I do have a final outcome. Once it’s all settled, if I don’t have to sign anything I will give a final update.

I figured that or you wouldn't have updated it as much, I've seen other people go through this and go completely dormant and others tell that they can't say anything else,

Yes. Final outcome Jeep settled with me out of court. They kept coming back home other low offers to get rid of me but all in all I just stuck with it and got a favorable settlement. My advice is if you have any issues with your jeep keep detailed records and know the law in your state. Remember it costs more for them to go to trial. Most jury’s will side with the small guy who is getting taken advantage of over any corporate company.
Final conclusion, I drove the truck a total of 10k miles and w all of the problems, I got rid of it and ended up getting my money back.
