Those types of cracks are hard to stop with a resin windshield repair kit. You can try but the lack of indentation point will be tough.

If the Gorilla Glass was installed as a factory option, it carriers no more of a warranty than the standard vehicle warranty does in relationship to glass coverage which abysmal unless it can be proven a installation error or material defect.

Gorilla Glass that was installed after the fact as a MOPAR accessory option has a stand alone warranty with better coverage but even many still had problems getting it covered under that warranty.

To many, Gorilla Glass juice is not worth the squeeze as it is hard to quantify what should or should not be covered for impact damage. In your case though, it appears to be an installation error but I would not rule out a dealership pushing back and playing their games.

Update: Had the JTW’s windshield replaced yesterday with Mopar OEM glass. Safelite did not have GG in stock. I think this is windshield #4 for our 2022 JTW. Perhaps next(about 2-4 months) time we can get. GG installed if available.

Mine came with GG and I love it. It keeps the wind and bugs off my face. I love the Gorrila sticker in the corner that makes it so worth it. When I see a rock or something coming I just swerve to miss it. LOL.

Is this just bad luck? I'm at year 3 with my Mojave....freeways.....60mph on desert trails....not a single blemish in my old school glass OEM windshield...

About 60% happened on the I-17 in AZ, other 40% on other roadways in AZ. To answer your question, just bad luck. Insert frustrated very sad face imoji here,

You just had to say something didn't you. OK, this is a month later. Broken yet? Kidding, I had a renegade for five years and it only broke in the last few months before I traded it. A rock hit right at the edge so sent a runner up the window, once that one started, they started all over the window.
