My wife has been driving Honda Odyessys for the last ten plus years and was tired of driving a mini van. We have a family of seven so options are limited. Had a GCL for two weeks because of my JT's axle leak. She loved it. So we got a Laredo GCL a couple weeks or so ago. About 600 miles in and no issues so far and we both enjoy driving it.
She’s in a odyssey as well. With only 2 kids and no car seat we have realized that the van isn’t really a must have anymore.

We've had 3 Grand Cherokees (2 2010s and a 2015). Each one we've driven well over 100k miles with only a few relatively minor problems. We're still putting miles on the 2015 (currently at 115k or so) and it is still a very nice driver and super quiet. All in all, they are great vehicles and very comfortable. I wouldn't hesitate to buy another one.

They ARE quiet vehicles for sure - they've got the shape and other stuff figured out. Plus, it comes standard with so many things and are at a great price-point, IMO.
We looked around at other stuff years ago but to get what the GC had standard it drove the costs of the others up pretty quickly. We've also been impressed with the resale value of these things.
We got our new 2021 by putting up her 2018 and 14K cash.

For less than $1000 you can add a 3rd row seat to that Wrangler.

19 years this December…100%. I presented all the options and have been a facilitator. I’ve now fallen to the technical advisor role. She is going to get whatever she wants. Looking like a loaded Willys dual top option at this point. Will need to be ordered. Once we get to the pricing, it’s my turn. I plan to reach out to all the under MSRP gladiator companies and ask about wranglers. My local dealer can then have a chance to get close or it looks like a plane ride to a small road trip is in order.

Hate to burst your bubble, but they are not cooled.
Just a small fan blows air through the perforations.
Feels cool, had them in two different vehicles.
Swass eliminator.

Indeed, not cooled officially, but it sure made a big difference especially when I lived in Texas.

UPDATE:

Settled (she) on ordering a 2022 Wrangler Willys in Sting Gray loaded. Went through Koons in VA and ended up 6% under invoice. Can’t recommend them enough.

Drive the 4xe and you'll see the value. Plus with the tax credit it's the most cost effective one to get in to and you'll save money on gas. We are averaging nearly 600 miles per tank and now trending up even more with the lvl 2 plugin charger topping it off in 2 hours.
Except you're not saving money because cost per mile on electricity matches gas. You also paid more for the vehicle eliminating most of the tax credit. And you still have to change fluids. No value at all.

Just wait until warranty expires. That's when you better have deep pockets.

Not even close, I'm basically paying about 1.58 for a full charge which gets me on average 25 miles of stop and go traffic. Compared to 4 bucks of gas (assuming 20 mpg at 3.25 a gallon). Literally cut my fuel cost in half.

Also yes the MSRP is higher by about 5k but I got back 7500 via credit so I saved 2500 there and its still the highest performance non 392 wrangler you can buy. The electric motor is basically an extra turbo on the 2.0.

You may be right about when it's out of warranty, but I'll let you know in 10 years when it's actually out of electric powertrain warranty (I probably won't because I won't own it in 10 years)
