iowa as well, motor inn of spirit lake I think. He’s super quick to respond back to emails and is a sponsor. He’s got a thread stickied on top of the ordering forum with his contact info. I ended up going with Daniel at Gupton because both were 8-10 hrs from me and Daniel is cheaper at the 8 percent below invoice amount, but it sounds like both do a fantastic job and are trustworthy.

Good discussion. There are a few good options and definitely a few instances of local dealers which will come close to matching where it makes sense to go there. I hood no grudge against a local dealer that will go say 5% under vs Gupton’s 8%…people can price in their time as they see fit.

What does ‘grind my gears’ is dealers who don’t come anywhere close and claim Gupton prices are impossible, a scam, etc. I see that as lying to customers and almost stealing cash from older or less-informed buyers. Those dealers know full well that Gupton is doing, but they just don’t want to come off their thousands-per-truck profit margins and are mad anyone else is willing to.

Well said Sunrise, I talked to 4 somewhat local dealers by me and all of them claim they’ll match any deal, then the second I tell them the deal Gupton is offering they come up with a whole range of excuses why that deal doesn’t count…

I heard the same here. I went with gupton and couldn’t be happier. I’d do it again in a minute. They do what car buying should be.

I just thought about it.....Mopar mud flaps! I'm hoping to finalize my order today with Gupton, and I want to know if Mopar mud flaps are worth it! I haven't seen too much info on Mopar. I'm looking for Jeep to install before I drive 7-plus hours back to the Chicagoland area. I
m going with stock wheels/tires for years to come, so just normal coverage to avoid rock damage! Any thoughts?

I’m sure if you’re ordering, you can make sure the deal includes no dealer add ons. If/when I order, I will have that in the terms. No dealer add ons.

Lots of dealers install a GPS tracker on vehicles they finance. I suppose it could help them track the vehicle to repo if the buyer stops paying.

Shitty dealers are shitty. Some will charge you a fee to hack a tracking device into your wiring harness (for future service tickets and profit) in order to track you in case you don't make payments so they can more easily repo your truck. Other shitty dealers are shitty by installing kill switch devices in a similar manner for security on their lot so the truck won't start without a beep from a clicker (that you don't get). When it fails your truck is bricked, and you have to pay an expensive tow to pay them more money to fix it after they charged you for it. Stuff like that.

Yep ordered mine 7/23. Chip is holding it up. Been in jeep chat every Monday and same answer waiting on that part. I ordered the Gladiator Sport.

Just picked up my Gladiator Mojave from Gupton today!
