I'd love to know as well! How is the MOPAR certification going with this Hamburger SC unit ?
Supposed to go back to Jeep for final approval in August.I'd love to know as well!
Wonder why it wouldn't get final approval while it was there? Sounds like maybe some issues had to be corrected. Care to expand?Supposed to go back to Jeep for final approval in August.
They didn't like that we turned off "the auto stop start" in the calibration. It is required to be on if sold through a dealership (even though most people don't like it) They also wanted some sensor tests ran at our place for them and sent data since they were shutdown. Scheduling our Ram now as well to go to Ram!Wonder why it wouldn't get final approval while it was there? Sounds like maybe some issues had to be corrected. Care to expand?
Oh cool! I just reached out to some folks I know at FCA corp about it as well! I'll let everyone know what I hear back! They didn't like that we turned off "the auto stop start" in the calibration. What’s wrong with the air box?My Hamburgers kit just arrived and I'll be putting the Gladiator under the knife pretty soon. Just sent in the ECU. I plan on documenting the process as well as I can. I am contemplating 3D scanning the radiator supports to produce a stock-like solution that fits with the new intake plumbing, the same for the airbox. We will see how that goes. High hopes and I will learn more about the feasibility as I get it torn down.
More to come....

Correct me if I am wrong but I think he just means for the trimming of the stock CAI box which is required for the install. What’s wrong with the air box?
Right!, I would prefer to have the airbox closed up (like factory). It's not a major issue but one that will bother an OCD individual (Me).Correct me if I am wrong but I think he just means for the trimming of the stock CAI box which is required for the install.
Permenant hole.Does the airbox get resealed after install or is there a permanent hole cut into it?
Anyone have a picture of this?Permenant hole.
The entire bottom of the box is essentially cut out to make room for the charge pipe. I dont have pictures of mine because its hard to see once installed.Anyone have a picture of this?
We have a vacuum formed piece being made that will go where the box is cut if you wish to seal it back off.Does the airbox get resealed after install or is there a permanent hole cut into it?
