I'm Kelvin. My Jeep has recently developed a small issue—the window switch button is damaged (see the picture below). I tried searching on this forum, but it seems no one has discussed it. Or I missed anything? It still works. What would you do in this situation? please let me know. Thanks!

My nails are not long, I think the rubber end is too long, and when I press it, it repeatedly squeezes the hard lump inside.

It's not a big problem, I just suddenly found.

Mine is like the day I picked it up. I have a 2023. Same switch. Looks like some body picked at it.

Now i feel like i don't know what's real... i don't recall any rubber at all on my switches. Is this a thing dependent on trim or model year? (i've owned a 22 willys and currently own a 22 mojave) Or do i just not pay enough attention to things?

I would say you have a couple options:

1. Replace the Switch Control Unit
Power Window Switch Control Unit (Double Check to make sure this is the correct one for your model)
2. Put covers over the buttons so you can't see the damage
MOTOKU Window Switch Button
Window Button Switch Cover Trim

My 2020 Overland switches seem to be pretty tough. But I don't roll the windows down and back up often. Another reason for Mopar to have an "auto up" funtion like every other truck made. Particuarly in their location, where you have to take your eyes off the road to roll them up. If you roll them up and down often, I could see individuals holding the "Up" with some additional leverage, hoping they would go up faster.

I had the same problem. Amazon has stick on window switch covers for about $15.
