Patiently waiting for my Sport S Max tow W/ SelecTrac to show up. Just curious how capable off road it would be with some 33s on it? I'm coming from a 2010 Tacoma Trd Sport.

I agree with the other posts. It’s extremely capable stock and much better than many other modified IFS vehicles. Really depends on what you plan to do. But if you are rock crawling you probably want a little more height and mud terrain tires depending on the size of the rocks. At stock height you will scrape quite a bit on rocky trails.
My recommendation is to use it first and see what issues you have and upgrade from there.

How capable do you want it to be?
You can bolt on (nearly) anything that the Rubicon has, performance-wise.

I was just curious what it was capable of in stock form with larger tires. Mostly wondering about snow mud etc. But it sounds like whatever I was able to do in my Tacoma it will do better and much more. :)
I have 33s MT with 1.5" leveling kit. When it was fully stock with the 31" street tires it left my father-in-law's Tacoma Sport with stock size ATs at the bottom of the hill. He could not follow me. Not slamming Tacomas, it really was no comparison.

I drove in a foot of snow 30+ miles no problem.

Not trying to derail the topic, but we don’t get a ton of snow here in TX, but I’m considering a family trip to Colorado over Christmas break and don’t know the first thing about driving in snow. I’ve got 33” A/Ts. would that even work? I’ve still got the stock 31” all season tires that I could switch back if necessary, but I’d rather just sell them ASAP.

33 ATs will do good. You get traction in snow comes from packing snow in the grooves. It's not like a MT that "digs" through the mud. Most ATs advertise superior traction in snow. What brand?

Your Max tow sport with 33" tires will be very capable, having the wide axles, the 4.10 gears and topping it off with selec trac transfer case, you will love that in the snow, when there isn’t enough to be in 4-Hi.
Tires, I am sort of old school , I have a Mojave with Falkens A/T LT285/70R17, load range C, 32.8” X 11.2” wide, 62lbs. I almost would sell mine off and go with same tire in a LT255/80R17, load range E, 33.1” X 10” 52lbs.. HD tire won’t be out past fenders same height, and 50 lbs. lighter, suspension and payload would enjoy that , plus side benefit is you just got another inch of clearence under your spare! Other guys have done it, you already have wide axles so the 1.2” isn’t noticeable!
Like most of the respondents said what are you doing with it.....Jack

Don't bother with the stock All Season tires: they're crap in the snow. They're not even all that good in just wet.

They’re Mojave take-offs... Falken Wildpeak A/T 285/70R17.

The wildpaek A/T tires will be fine in the snow!
