I did not. I saw 8th less often, but I figured that was to be expected given the (slightly) taller tires. They're also wider & softer. More aerodynamic drag and more rolling resistance. I aired them up to 37-38 lbs, but on a couple of real cold mornings (and "real cold" here in SC is 30* or so LOL) the pressures would drop to 32-33 lbs or so... and I could feel the extra drag... noticed that I saw 8th even less. When the tires heat up and pressures are where they should be, I see 8th more. Generally I'll see 8th on flat ground up to about 70-75 MPH (if I'm remembering correctly). Anything above that, it drops to 7th due to the wind resistance.

It's been over a year, so I assume the adaptive shifting has... adapted by now. I wonder if I'd have anything to gain be resetting it at this point?
If that's a Sport S without max tow, it's 3.73 gears.
My Overland has 3.73 gearing so it's a close to direct comparison.
I don't see 8th a lot unless the wind is down, the ground is fairly flat. The faster I drive, the less it's able to stick in 8th.
AND - that's with the stock diameter tires (32.2") but slightly wider than stock because I removed the H/T tires and put on General A/Ts
With Rubicon take-offs (depends on the tire site - some say 32.7 and others say 32.8) it also tended to stay out of 8th more often. Weight matters, rolling resistance (wider footprint) and you've done the same as snuck up to a slighter higher gear ratio with the taller tires.
4 things working against that thing - rolling resistance, weight, and drag (air hitting the fronts of the tires), and changing the RPM band for a given road speed (requiring more torque)

I dropped over 1 mpg and changed how easily mine can resist downshifting just going to A/T tires that were slightly wider but still the same diameter.

I also found that I needed to fudge the tire size number a tad to get it just right. I used "diameter" to get close, then tested it a couple of times and tweaked that until I got the trip odometer and the GPS odometer to line up just right.

Yep... regular Sport S (no Max Tow), so 3.73 gears. Forgot to mention how much heavier those Wildpeak A/Ts are than the Bridgestone Duelers that came on it too... definitely makes a difference when accelerating. All those factors combined make it a lot more difficult to pull 8th gear. If I had it to do all over again, I would have held out for a Sport S with the Max Tow package to get the 4.10 gears, but back when I bought, they were pretty hard to find and I got impatient. The 3.73's are right at the borderline of being acceptable for 33" tires... 4.10s are ideal. It's not bad enough to spend the money to regear though - unless I decide to go up to 35s or 37s, but I don't see that happening. 33s are perfect for all I do.

Ok last quick question……..when making adjustments and using the Jscan app….do you need to be connected to Wifi Or using cell service? I asked becasue I would like to use my iPad but I dont have cell service on it and also in the driveway I don’t have wifi that far…..or do I need to just use my cell phone?

Should not need cell or wi-fi service. Just Bluetooth between your dongle and your IPAD. Your Jscan software will also need the license with your VIN applied to it before using.

If you frequently air down your tires, you can change the thresholds where the low tire pressure alert goes on and off. That alert is super annoying as it's constantly changing the center screen away from the screen I usually want it on

I cant comment on Jscan bur this feature on Taxer only goes down to 25 psi, given what the Tazer can change I wager that limit is on Jeep's side

Good call out - with Jscan the lower limit is 15psi which is a lot more useful (for me anyway)

There is a bunch of scattered posts but not one centralized post.

Fog light on with High Beams, Seat Belt Minder turned off, Hood Alarm and few others I messed with.

I would suggest going into Demo Mode and just play around with it and search it out as there is a ton of stuff in there.

I just got a Jscan unit last week. Updated the tire size, and all went well. I’m wondering though what do you all do with the connector cable? Leave it connected? Do you need to remove it when taking vehicle into dealer for service? thanks

I’ve used it on two Jeeps to change the tire size. The biggest problem is getting your hand to where the plugs are, lol. Worth the money just for that though, dealer wanted $300.

I bought extension cables so it was really super-easy to plug in the bypass cable, and remove it again.
A lot depends on what I'm doing - if just changing a single setting and I get it right, I pull the bypass cable (black/orange) and plug the factory wires back into the extension cables to lead to the SGW above.
If I'm doing a series of things - I leave it in place for a while.
The extension cable set makes it so simple to plug and unplug the bypass there's little need to leave it there unless I'm doing some sort of diagnostics or experimenting or whatever. It is, after-all, a firewall bypass so anyone can easily get into your truck and mess with it with a cheap BT adapter plugged in.
For dealer visits, I'd remove it because sometimes what is done is a "SGW present and working" sort of a check. One time I got back into my truck after a dealer visit and opened my console to see my adapter and cables in the bottom of the console. (Likely the tech also owned and drove a Jeep and knew all about that stuff)

Anyone using an iphone have the OBD link MX (not MX+)? Does it work?

Also, if I buy the license through the iOS app, can I use it on an android phone too? On the same vehicle of course...
