I ordered mine 07Aug. Got an estimated ship date as well as VIN# this morning from the dealer. I had to call....he didnt just send me an update, so I don't know exactly when those statuses were reached.
where did you get your info?
Ive been contacting jeep care in this forum.
ordered 7/31 , got vin a couple days later. and as of yesterday the response was: Your vehicle is still waiting to be sequenced for production. seems like 2 weeks of nothing at all ??
not sure what that code is? D maybe?

This is the north side of it. Missed out on the property I took this from so bought the taller mountain with a better ocean view (you can see the mtn i missed out on to the left of the first pic I replied with above). Should have a house built out of shipping containers very similar to this one by next summer. People are rock climbing and hangliding on the property already. I intend to open it up for a huge gladiator meetup once construction happens.

It seems that I must not have made the best life choices as I think I could maybe afford the container. Not the home mind you, just the empty container.

My Gladiator purchase was YEARS in the making! All I've own are Jeeps. Started with a 1996 Cherokee Sport, then onto Grand Cherokee's, three in total. I used my Grand Cherokees for hauling most everything. Once I stuffed 33 bags of mulch in one! The guys at Home Depot thought I was nuts, but to each his own! Here's a short video I made justifying that I needed the Gladiator. I guess it worked too, and I couldn't be happier! What worked for you?

Lol, that rack is awesome!

Actually it isn't too bad. Not buy the side of a mountain in San Diego good but I can afford a Gladiator so it's all good.

Looks fantastic all around....is that sipping container home one of the Honomodo homes? I've perused that company a bit. Also wondering if you mind sharing the general region you bought that property (I understand not wanting to share specifics)...wife and I are in the beginning stages of planning our next phase....

Compared to what houses cost in San Diego proper, it’s a pretty good deal. You’re welcome anytime you wanna visit SD though

It is Honomobo good eye. I work with them on some projects. This is in San Diego county.

The grid is 6 poles away so this home will be 100% off grid with a well, solar and batteries. I know a guy ;)

Well you never know, I am in San Diego and the surrounding area several times a year. Next trip looks like October but I think I will be very busy that week.

How did I justify?
1- Available as a manual transmission
2- Better than the Taco
3- I wanted it
4- I’m worth it
5- better than the Taco (mentioned that already?)

For the past 40 years I have changed back and forth between a Jeep and a small 4x4 pickup for off road use. I will own a Jeep for a few years, and then decide it is too small, and I can't carry anything with me. So I change to a 4x4 pickup truck, such as an S-10 Chevy, or lately the ZR2 Chevy, or a Toyota. Then in a few years I decide the truck is not capable enough, and I can't go where I want to with it when off road. So I change to a Jeep again. Then in a few years change to a truck, then a few years later change to a Jeep, and so on, for 40 years.

So instead of owning a Jeep, then a truck, then a Jeep, then a truck, now I own a Jeep truck. This one might just be what I am looking for.

I drove the little Cherokees for a few years, then bought a Grand Cherokee to upgrade. It was the worst vehicle I ever owned. So I traded it in for a Sorento because I needed the 3rd seat (kids) and swore I would never by Chrysler products again. I also had horrible experiences with the local dealer, after prior problems with a Durango as well. When I saw the Gladiator though.... well.... I needed a truck for help in maintenance of some property we purchased, my wife wanted a jeep, we both wanted another convertible, so the decision was made. BUT...the price....gee whiz.
The wife was in on the purchase, as soon as we could afford it. She had a raise coming up, and the purchase kind of depended on that. Well it went like this: she got the raise...we got the Jeep...covid hit....lost the raise(cutbacks).
So we refinanced the house to keep it.
Still worth it.
I just hope no other crap hits the fan until it's paid off.
