Here is Colorado, on windshield #3 and the current gorilla glass one has been busted for probably 6 months...

You're not kidding. They seem so fragile. I broke my first windshield within weeks of delivery. I put this film onto mine and it seems to be working well to protect it: https://www.grab-gard.com/products/jeep-wrangler-windshield

Almost 22k and I’ve taken several good sized stones thinking for sure it was my time. You know the ones where you don’t see it coming until it’s at the front of your hood and it makes impact…making you feel your neck and chest looking for blood. The good ones…

I know I've said this already, but I'm at over 40k on the original windshield. I sold a '15 JKU with 72k on it's factory glass. The key is to learn how to use a windshield repair kit (like Rain-X), stay away from the back of anything with dual rear wheels and lifted trucks, and put extra space between your Jeep and anything in front of you.

My original one lasted until 565 in Huntsville AL had road construction and they didn't clean up the dang road of loose gravel probably 300 plus windshields broken that day. Most of us "victims" of it was driving sensible to not launch rocks but some jackasses just had to speed though launching rocks into the rest of us.

50k since September 2020. only window that broke was the back window like 3 weeks after I bought the truck. no one had that back window in stock and it took safe lite a week to get one.… gravel drive ways and lawnmower. It was a one in a million shot.
