Great attitude! Just get it fixed and move on. Never seen anything in my life that couldn’t be fixed. Question always was…….What was my attitude gonna be to do it.At 17,000 miles. Besides a few quality issues I feel Jeep could easily have fixed before releasing. As i mod and improve it i'm loving it more all over again. Radio and it's OEM replacements drove me mad for awhile but looking forward to tossing the horrendous base 5' and upgrading to something nicer. Once my PRP seat covers come it it's going to look great.
Great viewpoint.Took delivery in June 2019. Launch Edition truck and the ordering, build time, and delivery were all very positive. I owned two Wrangler Saharas in the 90s, the second I bought new. That experience was not a positive one so I hadn't even considered a Jeep since.
I was shopping full size trucks. Roush F250, Raptor, Power Wagon, I looked at pretty much everything before the Gladiator was announced.
Made the decision to order it, knowing there would be things I don't love, and I have been far more impressed than I expected to be. It's comfortable, has presence, I appreciate the styling, really like it lifted with 35s. The tech is solid without being overbearing. The engine is mediocre, but I knew this going in. I can force some water in with the pressure water, but no major leaks. The drive shaft recall impacted mine, otherwise it's been 17k problem free miles. I installed Steer Smarts front end, but the wander and play has gotten worse. Plan to do the TSB.
All vehicles have issues. I don't love Jeep service departments, so that makes resolving issues more challenging.
On the whole, it's unique. Has character. Nothing else in the truck market like it. Not without it's flaws. If forced to replace it though, I would at least try the TRX.
I’ve become a klinger. I wanna know where it is at all times, stalk it in the driveway and demand it spends all its time with me. That’s obsessed ? hahahaha!13 months, 23,000 miles, and I still can't stop staring and talking about it. It's almost an obsession. I look forward to every camping trip, every wheeling trip with my girlfriend and/or son, every time I take the dogs for a ride, every sunny topless day, and every snowy day where I might get the chance to help pull someone out of a ditch. I've owned over 30 vehicles, and this is by far my favorite.
This is how my other car feels when I look at my Gladiator.17 months or 36100 miles worth. I still get a smile when I look at it. Building memories with it.
Still on your honeymoonI've had mine for 1 week.
Love it!!
