After my 2022 Mojave was stolen I found myselft not being in a position to replace it due to costs in Canada, but was grateful to find a nice Rubicon XR with a 5k discount. It was nice but I missed the Mojave and lucky for me we finally got some serious discounts on them in Canada. I ended up gettting a total of 13K off MSRP so the trade made sense, pretty much just a wash with $$ moving around.

1st pic is the much loved and missed 2022
2nd is the JLUXR
then onto the new Mojave!

1st mod was the removal of the Mojave decals, I will be painting the rear hooks black, the fronts will be gone once the ARB bumper and Warn winch are installed up front.

2nd mod was the Mopar roof rails.

With 970km on the odometer 37x12.5 Cooper AT3 XLT's were installed on the stock rims. I get slight rub at full right turn but not left. The spare fit under the bed without issue, there's 1/2 an inch between the tire and the track bar, I will see how it looks under flex soon.

Tomorrow the Teralfex 1.5 front spacer kit goes in along with a Daystar 3/4 inch rear spacer. I have some RockJock 1.5 inch shock extensions on order for the front along with some Teraflex 1/2 inch bump stop extensions for the rear.

I have some Mopar lift kit sway bar links lying around that I may add, I think Jeep should be using longer front links on these Mojave in stock form. I am also still considering the idea of using a JKS Flex connect link that I can pair with a Steer Smarts hard link on the opposite side or a Rock Krawler adjustable link. RK was kind enough to say no problem to selling me a single link, nobody else would. Steer Smarts should match at 9 inches eye to eye, they informed they had some cosmetically imperfect links they would sell me a set of at a discount. This is cheaper than on RK but it would suck if the length wasn't a perfect match.

Got the 1.5 inch Teraflex front spacers with a 1 inch bumpstop along with the rear Daystar 3/4 inch spacer. Not a massive difference but it is there! THe front will drop about 1/2 inch once the winch and bumper go on in the next few days. It of course looks taller in person.

Tested the flex, the rear is really really close when hitting the bumpstop, it will for sure rub the inner fender wheeling, I will be glad to the the little 1/2 inch bumpstop spacer installed when it comes in.

Lots of room up front. Can barely get to the bumpstops with this setup under full flex. Left the short factory links on for now, will change them when I get the shock extensions and decide if I should go flex connect at that point. I am thinking I likely will go that route to get better action up front.

The front tire is just off the ground in the pic below. Looking forward to getting the Rock Jock 1.5 inch extensions for the front.

Got the Teraflex 1.1 steering stabilizer installed that was on the JLUXR. The 1.1 is significanly smaller than the 2.something I had on the last Mojave, but I am confident it will be great and certainly better than the factory stuff.

One thing I am surprised about with the Teraflex 1.1 Stabilizer is the fact that it has already rusted after only 2 months of use.

With the Falcon 1.1 stabilizer the steering has a slightly heavier feel, but in a good way. I also forgot to mention that I put some Mopar lift kit front lower control arms on when the spacers went it.

A couple things I've noticed;

1. I feel the 37's more than I did the 35's on the last Mojave, from accelaration it is clearly more sluggish, braking feels like slightly more effort to make quick stops or that was possibly just because I had my 1st need to brake hard with this new rig today.

2. The front shocks are topping out on occasion, I never noticed that on the last Mojave but it only had a 1 inch spacer, not the 1.5 this one has. I am looking forward to getting the Rock Jock front shock extensions from their Mojave kit this week. I am wondering if when I add the winch and bumper like I had last time if that will help this as it will drop the front about 1/2 inch. Regardless the extensions are going on soon as they arrive.

3. Speedometer is 10% off, at 100km/h (60mph) on the gauges I am seeing 110km/h on my GPS app. I've compared the app to my Garmin before and found it to be accurate. I do see 8th gear on the highway in flat no wind areas at about 55mph, haven't been much above that due to the speed limits where I am these days. With gas at $7.00 a gallon here slow is ok! Dealerships are saying they don't know if they can still reprogram for 35's or 37's, the 2 in my area want to charge me an hour labour to 'see' if they can still do it. I would be ok to try it at 35's if that is all they could do but I declined and suggested they should have a yes or no answer and that I would be happy to let them try it with my Jeep, but if they can't do it I'm not paying them. So Tazer or FlashCal or ?? Open to suggestions based on experiences.

Got the ARB Classic stubby on today. It was the smoothest install ever, usually my experience is that the mounting holes are misaligned and need adjusting, not this round! I will install the winch tmrw or Tuesday.

Got the Currie front shock extensions on a few days ago, the front shocks are performing much better now. No more topping out feeling and a much improved ride. Also added the Mopar 7.5 inch front sway bar links. I have yet to add the rear 1/2 inch bump stop strike pad extensions.

Still thinking about going to the JKS Flex Connect setup.

I am mostly liking the Cooper AT3 XLT 37’s with thr exception that they don’t like hard/fast cornering like the Falken AT3W 35’s on the previous Mojave. I still need to recalibrate for the tires. Feeling like the ECRI is the device I will go with.
