I may be wrong, but to these old eyes that landscape and highway look the same as does the fire itself as far as location and such..

Jeep driver is an idiot. Took the life of an innocent person or family because they can’t control their anger issues.

Agreed, wouldn’t be surprised if that’s not it.

The only similarity I see is a really smashed up white car next to the car that’s on fire. But the article does say two car accident and from the video it’s at minimum a three car accident.

That does look like it to me. If that's the case and the article details are correct, it was not a fatality crash. It's all hearsay at this point but I'm curious to learn more if it becomes available.

I don't understand road rage at all. I have been driving long enough to know that I make mistakes on the road occasionally. Why would I get made at someone that made an what is likely an unintentional error. Just let it go. Even if the jeep didn't wreck what was the goal? Push the other car into oncoming traffic and possibly kill more people that are just minding their business? F this driver, lock them up and lose the key.

That car had no reason to move left which is extremely annoying (keep right except to pass)

I don't know that highway or area so reserve judgement - but - we've been in areas where the navigation states to "keep left in 1 mile" to keep going where you want to go because the highway splits and if you aren't in that left lane, you go to some other city or state.
For all I know the nav/phone/GPS told him/her to keep left to make the next highway split.
A lot of places are that way. Take I35 south and hit KC - you have to keep right here, then keep left, then take this exit, then keep left again, merge here - all to GO STRAIGHT ON I35!
So - we don't know and can't judge, can we? Maybe there's a reason, maybe a sign says "xxx these lanes" and they needed to move over?

It's similar to how people on the Internet tend to say things they wouldn't say in person due to being in the confines of their own home.

It's very easy to act out of character when you have 5,000lb of steel on wheels protecting you.

OTOH, I can see it in the air - I mean the anger out there at things that simply "annoy" where in the past it would be put up with, ignored or gotten used to. Today, though - get rid of what annoys us and it's transfers into scenes like that video.

Self PIT maneuver. To me it looks like the Jeep forgot how long he is, or was, and tried to play Formula 1 swervy games.

Thanks to modern crash protection, and more importantly modern Level 1 trauma ER’s, it looks like neither of them will be a statistic. Hopefully there was a lesson learned.
