Hey everyone, I tried doing some research, but could not find the answer to my question

But I wanted to know if the Rubicon gladiator’s come with the wiring to install a Factory auxiliary switches ? I just got the auxiliary switches from the dealer and they said they don’t have any wiring harnesses for them so I’m assuming they already pre-installed?

Can anyone confirm before I get started, don’t want to stop halfway only to find out that I do need a wiring harness

If you bought the full kit it should have come with the harness.

There are a few post on this already. I looked into it as well and if I am remembering right, some wires are there and some were not. I didn't find the wires on mine but I also didn't want to dissect the wire harness looking for it. I went with the S-Tech assy and ran my own harness. Other tools were also needed to tell your jeep that it now had switches.

What was in the box you got from the dealer? If it is just the switches, then they ordered a repair part and you need to return it. The Aux Switches kit includes the wiring harness and instructions for installation.

That's a repair part. Not the kit. You need the kit. Get the part # they ordered.

The one I ordered was 82215798AD, but there may be newer versions (AE, AF, etc.). Looks like Amazon still carry the AD.

BAM carries it for $315, and they list a newer part number, 82215798AE.

If you order through the dealer, make sure it is the one with the chrome bezel that matches your Rubicon.

Having flashbacks about punching through the firewall while I'm on my back in the passenger side footwell. The rest of the install took 15 mins, that took 2 hours. Ha!
Couldn't agree with you more! Sore back, neck, and fingers.

Check with BENNY - a forum sponsor. He sells MOPAR parts at a discount and usually has a code for discounted shipping as well.
He can give you everything you need to know including part numbers, etc.
I go to him first for things like this. Dealers sell at MSRP, he sells at a fair discount.

There are several very detailed posts about getting this installed, be VERY careful when you go through the double-walled rubber grommet above the passenger foot well, you want to make damn sure you don't knick/cut any of the wires that are already in that grommet when you're forcing your knife/coat hanger/tool through it.
