Come drive my jeep. I want the opinion of someone who thinks it's my lack of tolerance.
I'd be glad to but the logistics aren't working in our favor. I'm not ruling out the possibility that you got a bad apple, just saying there are a lot of complaints about the steering because a lot of people are used to tighter steering. If it's as bad as you say, it's warranty time.

The frame flex has nothing to do with the bad steering boxes. FYI. And you can install the synergy brace for around $200 to solve that issue.
The steering boxes might not be the problem. This brace is to shore up the weak frame where the box is mounted. The steering box is moving when the steering wheel is turned. lol

I have that part on order, arrives next week. But you also need the Synergy track bar, $275, unless you have a 2" lift. Installation instructions detail that. I was quoted $275 to install these parts.

Everyone who has taken it in with the complaint is getting bull crap from dealers. Dealers who side with the customer are getting repairs denied by FCA.

Here's a lost sale...

I did a BCA (Borrowed Car Agreement) on mine, took it home overnight and put about 100 miles on it. It drove well when I test drove it. I put on Dirty Life Roadkill headlock wheels and 38x13.50R17 Patagonia M/Ts and it still drives very well. I did not notice any issues when putting on the bigger tires.

You've been on the thread "Loose Steering", so the answers to all of your questions I've posted there.

Have you keep up on that thread? It's been discovered that the frame is flexing where the steering box is mounted.
No, I don't read or follow that thread. I don't know anything about "frame flex" or "bad steering boxes"
