I know the jeep dealer next to work is doing their buy 3 get the fourth for a dollar. I purchased five 35" (315/70r17 honestly) KO2s for my wrangler this way. Cheapest i found.
DANG…..I’ve been looking for this deal for a while. I bought my four 37x12.5 General Grabber ATXs from Gupton a year ago under this promo, when I picked up the truck from them. That’s what pushed me from 35 to 37 - they were the exact same price as the four 315/70s that I had ordered from DTD. Now that I’m on 37s I definitely wouldn’t go back because I see how they do make a huge difference with moderate crawling.

It’s been a busy year and I’ve put almost 30k on the truck and my 37s, and I’ve been scoping to buy some new tires early if I find the right deal. I haven’t seen the buy 3 get 1 for $1 until you just mentioned it, and sure enough. Time to call my local dealers and see if they have any 37s in stock.

That's about right. You can find some cheaper but not by much. Don't get Ironmans because they suck. I bought a set of 35's for my JKU right before I sold it and that's about the worst riding tire I've ever ran.
Nobody’s perfect. Maybe next time.

Before people get all "I remember back in the day when tires cost a nickel" I'm just going to throw out that in 2008 I paid a little over a G for 4 245/45r18s. The fact that I can get 5 315/70r17s for 1207 today is wild to me. I get specialty tires (37s+) have gone a bit nutty, but the rest of the market seems relatively stable to me.

I just paid $2200 for Baja Boss ATs, mounted, balanced, and with a warranty. Mickey Thompson did a $100 gift card back. These replaced my Patagonia Milestar 37s, which I bought 4 of for $1k not including mounting/balance. But those lasted 16k miles.

Prices are not great right now.

You got double the quality and life for double the money, and likely a much better ride!!

IF you think that's bad, come to Canada, it is right fucked up here for prices. I will probably just trade my Mojave in when I need new tires and try to order a 4dr with Recon pkg haha ffs then repeat..

I LOVE how the tires say "made in the USA" on the side. So it hurt, but I'm happy. MPG went down a tad, oddly enough. Would've thought the AT would've been better, but I think they're heavier.

I have been running the Milestar Patagonia M/Ts since a friend has been using them on his King of the Hammers Jeep and never had a tire issue. If you watch Northridge's site, they often have these for a buy 4, get 1 free deal. I ended up about $365 per tire for 5 tires. These are the new Patagonia M/T 2s that should last longer. Also you can ask your local Discount Tire to match their price.

@Discount Tire has always treated me fairly. 33s and 35s. They were always a good sport about my off road shenanigans. The walmart deal was a loss for them. I asked if Discount would match. Something to be said for a tire warranty. But $613 for 5 Maxxis 37s shipped to my door. I had Discount mount them because they have a tech at my store who runs a JT with 37s and I knew he would do it right and not F it up.

Cast knuckles/ Reid racing are going to run $600, good ball joints are $275-600, shafts are a grand, hydro assist is $2700….
Tires seem like the cheap part of this long term equation…. Unless it’s not wheeled.

I'm not locked into those Nitto's, so if there's comparable 37" to be had for a better deal somewhere else, i'm all ears!

Just asked my buddy (Manager of a Discount Tire) today about KO2s and Ridge Grapplers. Said he could do $370 each on the tires. Unfortuanley I am still looking at almost $2k with certs.
I should have added: in case it wasn't clear - I only bought 4... I cheaped out on the spare since unless you have it in 4WD you can run a smaller spare in a pinch.
